Just got my kit the other day and I'm having problems with the wall charger too. The usb charger (when plugged into the pc)seems to work fine...red light while charging, green light when charged. But when plugged into the wall charger, the light on the usb charger stays green...even with a completely drained battery.

I have the same issues with 2 Ego kits I just received. It seems to be the wall charger part that is not working correctly. Contact Abe at LF and let him know. I'm sure he will fix this issue for you.

had the same thing. Contacted Abe and he helped me get a new one shipped out

I was thinking about going that route but for me I don't think it is worth my time or his. I know for sure that it is charging the batteries even if it doesn't look like it since I did test it out. I guess it is just an inconvenience that I can live with. That said, I hope they are able to address and replace the orders that need to get fixed and keep it from continuing.

I think it's great how Liberty Flights is stepping up on this one, even though it's actually the manufacturer's fault. That speaks volumes for their company.

I agree 110% on this one.

I said it before in my review of LF and Ill say it again.

The measure of a company is not what they do when everything works as it should, but what they do when it doesn't.

I agree, sounds like Liberty Flights is a stand up supplier. The "company" that I purchased my supplies from, when I called them with the same problem, said "O, no, we sell thousands of these and have never heard of this problem your describing". Ok, thats fine... Ill just get my supplies elsewhere then, have a nice day! :2cool:

Is it really worth losing business over what must be a $1 charger? No, you will get so much more repeat business from that satisfied customer, and word will spread.

Good job Liberty Flights.

It's called pure laziness as the manufacturer repays them for faulty product and also gives them spiffs to cover this kind of stuff, unlike the way Abe is handling things, as Abe is just a super stand up kind of guy, I have been watching his post for a while now and he has a very good business head on his shoulders and knows how to treat and handle people with Kit Gloves the way I see it and call it. I only have placed one order for 2 Ego Mega batts so far at LF and it was kind of a test order and after receiving my product perfect and in a timely manner with great pricing and watching Abe's post on here with his clients I can say I will be buying more products from Liberty Flights in the future that's for sure.!!!

I saw the exact same thing happen with another supplier and the Hello-016. The USB charger itself worked fine but some people had problems charging batteries and others didn't. They were finally able to determine that the AC adapter was the issue. Folks that were able to charge were using a PC or some other USB power source and those with problems were using the AC adapter that came with the kit. Same resolution too. The vendor had to replace the AC adapter.

Kudos to Abe for taking care of the problem.

You guys need to email or PM Abe. He take care of me pretty quickly. I bought 3 ego kits and all three chargers were bad.
He will sort you out, just send him a PM.

Are you sure it is charger. I have other chargers that work and they will not charge my new riva batteries..light stays green..batteries dead

Which charger came with these kits they all look the same..Stickers..anything else that I might beable to tell them apart.

All three of my wall units were bad.
If I plugged my cable into my laptop it worked fine.

Yeah unfortunately the replacement wall charger Abe so kindly sent out and worked perfectly fine for a couple weeks just died on me. No LED at all now. The USB on the other hand still works and my battery is now plugged into my computer.

I just shot off an email to Abe..waaaay too soon to expect a reply yet. But it seems like Abe got a bad batch of wall chargers Im sorry to say.

Abe, I just want to say I really appreciate how you've been on top of this issue and so forthcoming with your customers about whats going on.

hah, the replacement died as well? Oh dear. Those are from another batch, not related, the good batch you might say! I saw an email in my inbox about a replacement dying, I've not dare open it yet :/

Dont worry Abe. I know you are not the manufacturer. Ill be out for awhile tonight but I left my phone number in the email. If you can swing it give me a call tomorrow. I want to order a few more things if you have them in stock so if you decide to throw another one my way it can be placed in that order rather than paying for shipping twice.

I need to try drip tips next anyway. And DANG IT Youre out of the DIY stuff I was gonna order!!! Now Im mad at you ( not really ) hehe

My new eGo kit has the same issue. It charges and the batteries hold a charge, but the USB light is always green. Aside from not being able to tell if it's charged, can this problem cause an issue with it's ability to charge? If not, I don't wanna bother about a replacement, but if it's a warning sign that it won't last long then I'll PM or email. Does anyone know anything about this issue long term?

For the record, don't blame LF at all. Still 100% happy with the supplier. :)

My riva batteries wont charge either but I have other chargers and they wont charge the riva batteries..I guess bad batteries..abe sending me out new ones
