Well. I am in the same boat. I just got my first PV's a joy 510 kit ( I love it!!! ) and a joy EGO kit along with your new EGO PCC. My 510 is good as far as charging light. The EGo however is always green. I watched the video and followed the directions ?????? I know the battery is dead because it just now went out on me. I don't know if it is charging as I will find out in 2 hours or so.... I guess I need to read again on how long a charge should be.

I think the wall charger LED staying green does not mean it is not charging, but it is an issue as its confusing to people. Also, I found that when the wall charger LED didnt change neither did the USB plugged into it. Once I plugged the USB into my computer the LED on the USB worked as it should. I also do not think the eGo batteries were getting a full charge from the faulty wall charger because once I received my replacement, the batteries started lasting about two hours longer than they were on the first faulty wall charger. That kind of sucked because it meant the eGo batteries werent lasting any longer than my 510 batteries.

I just feel bad for Abe who seems to be running around tirelessly trying to get a solution to this. He must be taking a bath on these damn changers.

The wall charger light is passive, it simply indicates power. If, however, the usb charger when plugged in to the wall charger is not changing colour or better yet, the battery is not taking charge then it simply isn't working.

I've replaced a lot of these charger, yeah. The biggest problem is that it cuts in the fuds to buy lots of new shiny stuff for you all to play with :) Oh, that and it really isn't nice getting a kit that is hard to charge.

I don't believe the charger for the EGO is any good. Yes the wall charger is always red (good) but the usb in computer or in wall is always green. I was Vaping on my 510 and battery died so I charged it and vaped the EGO. the EGO like the previous poster said only lasted as long as the 510 did. And that was after I thought would be the full charging time with a green light on!

Just got done charging my EGO with the faulty usb and it only lasted 30 minutes - constant Vaping. My other dead EGO will be done charging from the PCC in 30 minutes. Abe can you help me out here!! Thanks. I know it's not your fault and you are dealing with the issue. I'm just glad I have my PCC with me here at work too!

I love my EGO !

Lets compare what the cords say... I bought two kits and a PCC (joye 510, joye EGO, and a EGO PCC)
for the 510: Wall plug says: Model joye510, INPUT AC 100-240V 50/60Hz, OUTPUT DC 4.2V ==150mA
(No usb came with the kit)..... This is working fine.
for the EGO: wall plug says MODEL: joye 510-306-PCC, INPUT 100-240V 50/60Hz 100mA OUTPUT 5.0V ==500mA .
For the EGO usb: Input DC5V 500mA OUTPUT DC4.2V 420 mA. (( The EGO kit came with a USB/wall charger))
THE EGO PCC: came with a usb/mini usb cord only no wall hook up! (( Would like to plug the EGO PCC to wall and not have to rely on my computer every time. Can someone give me advice on what I would need to buy for this))

With the usb/wall charging problem I think maybe the wall part might be wrong? It says joye 510-306-pcc... Should it say EGO...? What does everyones wall plug say... My EGO USB is now only working correctly on my computer but not when I plug it into the wall.. I need to have the wall plug working. I don't always have a computer with me!

You'll want a main adapter that puts out the current and voltage you need. That means 4.2V to 5V and at least 420mah to run the eGo USB charger. I'd guess the eGo PCC takes about the same current if not more. The small (in terms of current provided) adapter that outputs 150mah can be used with the eGo charger or PCC but then the charger can output at most 150mah meaning it'll take 3x-4x longer to charge the battery and even way longer for the PCC.

Having the same issues with the charger. Mine stays green and the battery doesn't charge.

The charger seems to work fine when plugged into my computer or my cell phone USB wall adapter (which is 1 Amp as opposed to the eGo charge which is 500 mA). At least I can charge and use the eG0 so it's not a big inconvenience. I'm glad I saw this thread which got me to try it on my computer and another charger.

A new RN 4075 atty I was using suddenly got real high resistance and stopped working. I can understand an open circuit but not sure how the resistance jumped.....

Abe, I emailed you at customer service. Thanks for the quick reply!
