Ego - cone over carto? Parts help!

I'd LIKE to find an Ego cover that'll go over my 510 cartos. I just got Ego batteries - no kit - so I bought a cover separately for this - but there's NO WAY, it's not even close. It's not the wrapper trouble I've heard of - it's an insert built into the cone with a tiny diameter opening. I don't know WHAT would fit through that. All the cone images look the same - you can't see inside. Is there a different cone that will fit over a "standard" 510 cartomizer?

I also got the tiny steel cone that's just like 1/4" tall - but that doesn't even reach to the carto/battery seam unless halfway unscrewed - I'm talking about something more like a full Ego cone, that would cover half of the cartomizer.

Can someone clear up if that's just not possible, or if there's a different-than-standard cone I need?
Like here, it says "Ego cones will fit over top" - well, not MY cone!
Help much appreciated!

This is bizarre! Your link takes me straight to to the cones...

Anyway, those are the right kind and they should fit--but the fit can be tight as they were designed for atomizers, which are thinner.

That said, if there is something inside them, you may have gotten an eGo-T or an eGo-C atomizer--they have a bridge inside and look like this:

But they come with a drip tip and an atomizer--and cost 11 dollars.

Yes he probably has the type a or similar atomizer.

Then again I have seen hard sleeves for ego c batts, so who knows. But I'm betting on the atomizer, for tanks, airy but do work. Lol

BTW, you can get cones especially made for cartomizers, they are fatter and shorter, and they fit over any carto. They were made for Riva batteries; I got mine at Liberty Flights--a very long time ago...

Sweet nice to know, I had to modify a few of mine to fit over my Kanger G5's....

Yeah, we used to sand them down...

Just be aware that Riva cones are short--they mostly cover the threads and a bottom third, maybe a half, of a carto.

Ahhh - that Riva cone is EXACTLY what I'm looking for.
I didn't get an atomizer - I got a cone, but there's a "ring" inside that is WAY too small a diameter for a regular carto. Sorry for me confusing things - the link went to Boge cartos becuase it said "a cone will fit over these cartos" - and that IS the kind of carto I'm using...

Can't tell from this angle what you got there... I have a standard eGo cone from Good Prophets and it doesn't look like that. have you contacted Rob? He's a good man--send him an email. He'll take care of you.
