I've tried to look everywhere for a similar issue, but most people seem to be having slightly different problems than I. As it stands I only have the one battery and charger, and when I attempt to charge the battery it shows a red light 100% of the time. Furthermore, the Ctwist also will not show any sign of life. Clicking the button 5 times to turn it on does not work, as it seems it has no charge whatsoever.

Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated!

As stated, I only have the one charger and battery. And sadly my friend bought it for me out of town just yesterday, so If I can't find a solution for it I do not intend to spend any money on subpar product that breaks for no apparent reason. I was hoping that there might be some ideas outside of the typical cleaning of the heads, or adjusting the pin (Since I've tried them both).

If the options are so limited, though, then I suppose I'll have to move on.

I'm a little confused if this is the first time you are trying to unlock it. But I've noticed that sometimes you have to click it 5 times very, very quickly, other times not as quickly. Unless the battery is broken, maybe varying the click speed might help. Once I thought my battery had died prematurely, but just some crazy clicking finally unlocked it, lol.

I've had some similar behaviour at first as well, fearing a busted battery. However, 2 weeks on it's performing just fine. Some things I have noticed;

* turn it to the highest voltage when charging
* '5 click on/off' is sometimes 6 or 7 click on/off, just click repeatedly until the led blinks to confirm it's on/off
* make sure the contacts on the battery and the charger are clean before recharging, just running a q-tip through will do

Hope this helps. If all fails, check with your vendors warranty and get in touch with them.

I'm not a fan of ego batteries. Mine's just the standard, no twist, but sometimes it doesn't turn off. The charger should blink when you plug in the battery. And like stated above, sometimes you have to click it more than 5 times to turn it on, sometimes fast, and sometimes slower. If you're not willing to spend money on it, vaping won't work for you. There are many affordable options, better than ego. You can bring it to the store your friend got it from, they can troubleshoot for you, and they should replace it if it's defective. If you're trying to quit smoking, I'd highly recommend another battery at least. Otherwise, when your battery dies, you have nothing and the cravings set in.
