a lot of people would agree yes, including me. your just starting out, and you cannot go wrong with a couple ego batteries and some boge LR (2.0ohm) cartos and some juice. you wont be dissapointed. you can always change to anything else thats a 510 thread and it will fit the ego batteries.

IMO yes the "best" setup for beginner and many Not beginners! Simple lasts a long time good vapor production-TH with good juices low "learning curve" just make SURE you get them filled first time and keep them topped off I like to fill the night before when possible so I have them "good to go" all day the following day.

Ok, then could you point me to exactly what you would recommend me to buy?
Honestly, all this is so new to me. I'm not sure what cartos is, and what juice i would need to buy. Sorry for being such a newbie, but I would like an easy setup so that I can get things started. Thanks!

cartos is short for cartomizer.

here you are. buy the cartomizers here

http://www.crystalclearvaping.com/Cartomizers-510-only_c_7.html

i would get this battery

http://www.ecigexpress.com/joye-ego...ry-with-lcd-screen-ego-510-select-size-p-1024

it has a LCD display to show you the voltage its at and its VV which means VariableVoltage. you can change from 3.2v all the way to 4.2v. gives you lots of room to play. get the 900mah. should last around 8-9 hrs vape time (thats depends on vape pace). 100mah is = to 1 hr of vape time. its not etched in stone but its a starting point to gauge battery life. this would be a fantastic starting point for you. you get best of both worlds my friend, you get a well priced vv battery with some easy to use cartomizers. most people spent hundreds of dollars to finally figure out that this was the 3rd or 4th system they bought, when they should have bought it (or something similar) to begin with and saved the extra cash for juice testing.

whatever you decide on is awesome. just pick something already and get off those nasty killer stinky sticks. you wont find something you like until you try it. all of our opinions are just that, opinions. whatever works for you is the best device for you. all we can do is suggest

Love my Joye Ego- dependable, powerful, durable... I like the boge 2.0 or resurrector 1.7 cartos. When these ego's die I would like to replace them with the Kgo, but that will be a long time from now I hope, maybe my needs will change.

What sold me on the ego was its durability and "solidness"; I am often outdoors and engaged in dirty, strenuous activities, and the ego has held up well in these conditions- better than my cell phone haha.

...the ego is a battery, you can get it as a tank system...which has problems("C"s are newer/better)...you can get it as a 3 piece system...atty and carts...attys are good to direct drip on to test flavs but the carts are mostly considered a fail...or you can get it as a cartomizer system(atomizer and cart combined in one unit)...superior to the other 2....Having said all that, I would prefer the Riva(higher voltage) in either the 650 or 1100mah versions...get the atty/cart system and order cartomizers to go with it...and improved version of both is the Kgo, an 1100mah batt with higher voltage...once again, get the atty/carts and cartomizers...attys with the addition of a drip tip is great for trying new flavs without committing a carto to them...eGos and Rivas from liberty-flights.com(click 20%discount button on top left of page) or the Kgo from hoosierecigsupply.com ...from either of those, you can get low resistance (LR)cartos...either Boge2.0ohm or Smoktech 1.7ohm cartos and both sell drip tips which besides going with the attys(atomizers) make nice mouth pieces for the cartos....the eGo, Riva and Kgo are all the same diameter...the 1100mah batts for the Riva and Kgo are slightly longer...if size is not a factor and performance is, try the E-Power from either hoosier or crystalclearvaping.com...they have industrial batts which drop in like a flashlite are as powerful as the 1100mah(actually more so) have twice the charge cycles for longer life and cost 5bux to replace Vs 18-20 bux for the bigger Rivas and Kgos..............

OK!

So, does this mean that I can get the eGo-C from Joye eGo-C Starter Kit | Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit | E Cig Kit at LiteCigUSA
and then get the Boge 510 2.0 Cartomizer that you mentioned, and I should be good to go?

Few more questions... what is VG content? Also, if i'm used to smoking marloboro lights or even meds, which strength will work for me?

And these cartomizers, are these replaced, and thrown out once i'm done, or is it refillable?

Cartos can be refilled multiple times (but are considered disposable after some time) how much did you smoke per day? It's hard to say on nicotine level really as you don't absorb nearly the same in vapor as you do in smoke but for a heavy smoker of full flavored would likely need higher than a 1/2 pad lights smoker would (in general terms) try varying levels to "tweak " what is best for YOU would be my advice

VG= Vegetable Glycerin , it is thick and creates clouds of vapor but dulls flavor and Throat hit for most people ; also it doesn't seem to wick as fast in cartos as PG - most use 80% or so PG eliquids

yes that kit will work with the boge LR cartos. the juices come in two different types of chemicals Propylene glyocol, vegetable glycerine pg/vg. some come 100% pg some you can buy 100% vg. pg has more throat hit and more flavor and vg makes more vapor and less throat hit and less flavor. a lot of people buy juice that is a mix of the two so you get best of both worlds. for example 80%pg/20%vg.

i would start at 18mg of nicotine and work your way down. for me 12mg is perfect. also, the more nicotine the more throat hit you get as well.

cartos are meant to be thrown out. they relatively cheap so throwing them out is the norm. 1 cartos has lasted me almost 5 weeks with no sign of slowing down. a 5 pack you can buy anywhere from 6$-7.50$. or 15 for $20

Yes get the ego-c plus the cartomizers, then you have a few differant things to try and you will be good to go.

VG content is how much vegetable glycerin there is in your juice. VG in the juice gives it more vapour, where as PG the other ingredient in there gives you more throat hit and flavour.

Cartos are desposible, 1 should last you at least a week refilling them when they run out. I would recommend starting with 24mg juice, but get some 12mg too, try both to see where you are at, and if you are chain vaping the 12mg should be ok.

In my opinion, if you want a 510 threaded battery type mod, the E-Power is the best and cheapest way to go, much cheaper in the long run than a Ego/Riva battery, and every part is replaceable unlike the Ego/Riva. If you ever think about a Ego-T don't do it, go with the Ego-c much easier to clean and dry burn and replaceable atty's for it are only around $5 or less and with the Ego-t they cant be replaced, so again much cheaper to operate. I do like the Ego-c, is a setup that has a refillable tank that you can take off and refill and has NO filler material in it like the cartomizers do. But like like some of the posters above, I would recommend the boge cartomizers for a beginner before trying some of the other systems. There is a learning curve with E-Cigs. I hope this is useful information. I have been vaping over a year and this is just my opinion.

Can you confirm this is all that I would need to get started?
eGo-C: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo-C
BOGE 510 CARTOMIZER: Electronic Cigarette - Cartomizers - Boge Cartomizers
E-liquid: E Liquid - USA Premium Blend - E Liquid 5ML - USA - Tobacco

I plan on buying only 1 cartomizer from this site, and buying more from the other site that offers free eliquids.. Let me know if i'm missing anything. Thanks!

those cartos way over priced IMO

Crystal Clear Vaping cheaper and free shipping dude.
