I have been lurking here for a minute and have been doing a lot of research elsewhere. Can someone please chime in and let me know what the pros / cons are vis-a-vis 510 and 901 atomizers?

You guys have a very robust forum here. Keep up the great work and thanks in advance for your help.

One.

I love the original Joye 510's on my eGo at 1.5ohms & I equally love the original SLB 901 LR's at 1.7 ohms on my 3.7v devices. Both provide amazing flavour and vapour at those voltage and ohm levels. So, it would depend on what you want to use them. What hardware are you planning on using them?

901 atomizers have a hole in the side and can drip liquid on your fingers or clothes.

I think in general 510 has more hit, 901 more airy and flavorful (until they go downhill from being hard to clean - you better get a smoktek carto/atty cleaning kit.

If you are actually asking about slim models, 510 vs 901 I say 510 for the manual batteries and all of the cartomizers. 510 threading has the most stuff available for it. 901 threading actually doesn't have a lot available for it. Rather than 901 I would use manual KR808D-1 with a 901 atomizer if I wanted to use a 901 atomizer.

I am going with a mod of some sort. I am hoping to snag a Super T Precise plus when they are available again. Otherwise, one of the others - a copper, omega, or V3. Need to get off the analogs ASAP. I want maximum throat hit and reliability. Thanks for the input.

I have two Omega's myself and you can't go wrong with them, or the Silver Bullet for that matter. No matter what you try, get a drip shield from EmpireMods.com to prevent any juice leakage. They were designed to be used with the 901's but I also use them on my 510's with a sealed 510-510 adapter. No worrying about extra juice ever.. ;)

Enjoy your vaping journey, and you will give up the analogs, it's a given!! Happy Vaping!

Since there is much more stuff available for 510 threading including all of the 510 cartomizers and all of the 510 and 306 atomizers, I think go 510 threading and use a 901 adapter for 901 atomizers. Unless your main goal is to vape KR808D-1 cartos (which may still need an adapter for airflow) I would chose 510 threading.
