Although I couldn't find anything on the forums for the ego E-power 18650, I liked what I read on the vendor's site and took the plunge.

Simple design. Connected in less than 3 minutes. Comfortable feel with great button placement. I started with the same carto I had on my 510-T so I could get a true comparison. It fired up at the first push of the button. The pull, TH, and vapor were the same as when attached to the 510-T. Since the carto was already more than a week old, I filled up a new one and gave it a shot. Much better pull and vapor with smooth TH (of course)!

I've been using the ego E-power 18650 for nearly two hours now and haven't had to go to my supplies once. As much as I've enjoyed learning to vape with my 510-T, and although changing the batteries never really bothered me, the fact that I don't "have" to have four chargers and four batteries on charge all the time has already proved the step-up was worth it!

The main reason I took the plunge for a removable battery system was cost. The convenience is just an added bonus! I've had my 510-T 4 weeks tonight and have purchased three batteries above and beyond the two that came with the kit. The original two will no longer hold charge more than 20 minutes, tops. That equates for my usage to be 2 batteries per month . . . or nearly the price of a carton of smokes.

The ego E-power 18650 is advertized to run on one charge from a full day up to two days and one thread reply to a question on the 18650 battery says each battery can last for 6 months or more. 1 battery equaling to 12 . . . well the best buy between the two is right there in the numbers! Well vaping will finally be a true savings over smoking financially, as well as physically!

So far . . . GREAT decision! Love the looks too!:)

PS: Is an ego E-power 18650 considered a MOD? I'm still a newbie even though I can't start a new thread on that forum anymore!

I'll be back to report over the next few days . . . but the consistancy, drag after drag is amazing. I've already ordered lower nic and it's a good thing. . . I'm having to set this one down whereas I've been keeping the 510 practically hanging out of my mouth all evening, every evening . . . with the exact same e-juice.

Start time was 6:30 est and as of this post, topped off the carto and that's been it.

...glad to hear you are liking it...those big ol' batts are da bomb!!!! Plus, you now have the power and ability to use any low resistance gear you want...if you haven't done so yet, you need to get some Boge2.0 or SmokTech 1.7(the Resurrectors) ohm cartos...these will truly rock your vaping world.............
madjack:2cool:

p.s. is this PV a mod...I would say yes, even if it is a mass produced Chinese mod.........mj

Okay . . . it's been three full days and not the slightest problem of any kind! I didn't try to see how long a battery would go after I hit 24 hours on the first one without loss of performance. Since then I've just made it a routine to put the daytime battery in the charger at suppertime, ~7:00pm and change it back out in the morning before work, ~7:00am. I vape heavier in the evenings around the house of course, so it works out pretty evenly on battery usage.

I have flooded an attached carto and other than making a mess, no problem. The unit cleaned up easy enough with a simple wipe-down (and the switch area was covered with the leak) and once reattached fired right up.

Although the battery cap (a screw-on) seems a little light-weight, there's been no issue with the threads lining up perfectly every time and no problem with the battery's negative-end spring in the cap.

No hanging up in the manual switch and the 8-second delay feels to be right on target.

I haven't tried LR or dual coil cartos since I haven't felt the need to. My very inexpensive cartos are giving me plenty of consistant vapor with easy drag. I have taste-tested a few new flavors with atty & drip and the vape was strong . . . a bit too strong according to how I soon felt, but that's a different topic.

I've also taken notice that this unit "sizzles" much more quietly than my 510-T which was a happy surprise. I didn't want more power to draw attention to my workplace vaping.

I'm still new to vaping and my equipment experience is limited to just two 510 thread models, however, I highly recommend this PV. The performance/cost, initial and maintenance, comfort and ease-of-use is superb!!

Hey fellow Tar(less)heel, SOO! glad to hear your experiance with your first mini-MOD!I'm waiting on my new toy the E-power from vapor beast. I'm into collecting now...with all the money I've been saving on analogs....this will be my first mini-mod and it sounds like it won't drink the e-liquid as the larger MODS do. See you in the Vapehaze!:vapor:GRIMMARMY.jpg

Hey all you vape freaks....Just got my new toy...the E-Power from Vapor Beast....WOW! nice mini-mod! I love the 18650 batts and the 5ml smok carts are not bad......this will be my daytime vape, I can see that already. E-Power is a perfect size mini-mod to have all day & with the 5ml carts I'll only have to fill twice in an 8 hr span. Yes I vape alot! So far its a nice one: threads are alligned well, buttons o.k., but, for the $$ it's pretty sturdy. So far it's a nice addition....but I think I like my LR e-go tank the best with it...cause the juice tastes cleaner.....me and carts just don't get along well.....to each his own, yea? I say get one, unless you can only vape at 7V:laugh: See all you freaks in the vapehaze:vapor:GRIMMARMY.jpg

Good Morning all you Vape Freaks,
I've been playing w/my E-Power for 2 days.......I really like the unit, more solid than I thought it would be for the price(got it at Vapor Beast...Tim is the CS guru). The button is a little touchy when you sit it down, it wants to flash...but I seen a few other people has experianced the same thing..doesn't have an adverse affect. The only problem is the Smok 5ml carts, which you get 3 of those honking things with the kit...yuk!! The mouth piece is awful!!! Have to order the round ones for the mega tank to replace them. But I've been running about 24 hours of heavy vaping w/1 batt, thats what I'm talking about!!!!! See you in the Vapehaze...:vapor:GRIMMARMY.jpg
