Hey, so I finally got my EGO EVOD from fasttech. this kit: https://www.fasttech.com/products/1368602

Last night I charged one of the batteries, there was a green light on the charger and the battery was stuck on there pretty well so I assume it worked. This morning I added my liquid and put everything together and it won't work. I can provide as many details as I need. Idk if i'm missing something obvious here

Try putting it back in the charger, the lights on the battery should blink when you insert it, if they do just take it out and it should work. If they don't you may be sol.

I figured it out. there was some paper or something covering up the metal on the battery that was supposed to contact with the charger. scraped it off with a knife. now it's charging. so it wasn't charging all night

If the light comes on when you charge, but not when you press it, the only thing i can think of is the 5-click on feature.

Is the button loose or tight when you press it? Maybe it's not making full contact? if you play with different speeds or pressures on the 5-click?

:(

ETA: The battery should have come with a partial charge, so you should be able to test whether cleaning the contact will take care of the problem.

well I'm getting somewhere now.

now instead of no light at all, when i press the button it blinks a bunch of times in a row then goes off. I tried 5 in a row, nothing changed.

Are things okay with your battery this morning, Johnnyh?

well it's been plugged in for about a half hour, seems to be charging. the light on the charger is sort of orange (looks like it should turn green when its charged) and the light on the e cig is blue.

but I just tried it again and it didn't work. I counted 10 blinks, not 20.

update: battery's been charging a few hours now. when I press the button with the battery not plugged in to the charger or the cartomizer, it lights up blue and doesn;t blink or anything. but when I attach it, it does the ten blinks. starting to think the battery isn't the problem...any suggestions?

Maybe it has a shutoff for a Short Circuit in your atty/clearo/carto. Try a different head.
