i thought it was a true 3.7 with the ego
well i just ordered my kit,
i just went with the regular batteries cause i guess the megas dont fit in the case i bought
and he switched one of the kit attys for a LR atty and the other one for an xl atty plus he took out the 5 blanks and gave me the 5 mega carts so i think that will be good
plus i have my 510 as a back up

so either way its gonna preform the same ,,, i cant decide ,, size or battery life

Correct, XL atty only needed with XL carts.

Mega battery works just like the standard, just more life.

does the ego produce more than a 510 or am i gonna even notice a difference in vapor ? or does it just last longer?

I don't really remember but i would think more vapor. it's 3.2V and i doubt a regular 510 battery is that high but i'm sure i'll be corrected if im wrong.

The JoyE products oscillate between 3.7 and 3.0 volts giving you an average of 3.2 volts delivered. What does that do? It helps keep the atty cooler = longer life. You see many folks pulsing the button especially at HV, that is what they are doing oscillating the power to the atty. A misconception is that the atty requires constant power to deliver, this is a myth. Vapour is still being produced with the finger off the button. Check it for yourself. If you want a "true" 3.7V eGo, you need to go to the clones e.g the Bauway by epuff.

batteries play an important role as well. Jack has a comprehensive "Battery FAQ" on his site. It is a long read but explains a lot. Short strokes a 900mAh battery will hit harder than a 650mAh battery, when all things are equal. 0.9A vs 0.65A. That is why the eGo was the 510 on steroids, where the 510 was fitted with a 180mAh battery, and while we are at it, why folks are reporting that the KR8 batts or the 510 mega batts hit harder than the standard 510 batts. Hope this is useful :)
