ego from 510 parts

Since I still havent reached my 5 posts I figured I would ask this question here.

I already have a 510 along with lots of atty's and carts. Can't I just get an ego battery, cone and charger and be all set up with an eGo? Seems like this would be the less expensive option since I already have the parts that fit vs getting a starter kit. Based on what I have read I am guessing yes but just looking for some confirmation.

i will admit i do like it with the 510 battery. I pulled one of those ink pen pocket clips off and attached it (with a little shrinking from a pair of pliers). Now I just clip it to my shirt and it looks like an ink pen and its always handy.

Can someone tell me the difference between a 510 Mega and an eGo? I am new to vaping and received my 510 Mega last Friday. Will the eGo battery last longer and will it give a better/stronger hit? What is the cone for?

I am really enjoying vaping but am a little dissatisfied with the inconsistancy of the hits. Sometimes I get a really good vapor sometimes not. Most of the time I get a good TH, but not always. I did learn that holding the manual battery button down for a second before I hit it, actually helps.

I havn't used the Mega 510 and have not yet used my eGo but this is the info from ecigexpress.com

Mega Manual Battery Featuring 280mAh, rechargeable Joye 510 battery. The Mega battery is 85mm long and lasts about twice as long as the regular Joye 510 Manual battery.

The Manual Battery for the Joye EGO has a 650 mAh Capacity. This means the average e-smoker will get between 8-12 hours use before needing to re-Charge the battery unit.

Also, the cone helps give the eGo a sleeker look and it covers the atty. From what i understand it can be used with or without the cone. I may have also read something about it heating the ejuice up more but I'm not positive about that. I been doing a lot of reading the past few days.

There seems to be a difference in how my EGO hits with the cone in place, when I am using carto's. I guess it must be that the cone limits the bypass air or something. There is a difference in the way it draws. The cone offers the carto or atty some support as well.

Quetsion -will the 510 usb charger alone, work with the ego?
I was told the usb would work, but the wall charger would not work for the ego

I'm considering doing the same thing. For a few $ more you can get the Ego Mega batt's so that's what I'll do. 650mah vs 900mah. If I'm looking for longer run time I might as well just go for it.
