Hi everyone,

I recently ordered an "eGo" from bigboxtore.com, an Hong Kong outfit. After waiting a month to receive the kit, it turns out to be a clone from all appearances. None of the devices match any pics I've seen of genuine eGos, the name Joye or their other trademarks are nowhere to be found, and my authentic Joye cartomizer doesn't work with the batteries (although it's fine with a real Joye batt). While the thing seems to work ok with their supplied carts and atomizers as well as with Boge carts, who knows how long it will last? Moral of the story: don't get suckered by low prices...

I ordered and received two ego starter kits from bigboxstore.com and just received them today. Since I have ordered a Joye eGo starter kit from IVAPE I compaired the kits and they were exactly the same! The boxs, all items and even the literature was the exact same. The only problem I had with them was that I had paid extra for the 3-5 shipping (for a Christmas gift) and it took them 8 days to even ship it from their factory.

ALSO, they claim the atty they also sell (separately) is for the ego only (i.e. ego mega) but when I received it, it was a 510 atty, NOT the mega.

I have had great success ordering from several Hong Kong companies. But I have also found that the U.S. Distributors (when they have a sale) come very close to the pricing. By the time you pay for the money transfer, and shipping costs, it's usually more cost effective to buy locally.

I've actually had some really good experiences ordering direct from China... but then I only order from heavengifts and dealextreme. Everything I've ordered has been quality stuff. Yes, you do have to deal with the shipping delay... but it's not so bad from them. Dealextreme is where I get all my mod batteries and chargers.
