You just need to be very careful with products on ebay. Did you see all the negative feedback, as well as the sellers response to it. Wow! Welcome to ECF, I recommend research, research, research on here and you will find out the best vendors, products and prices based on personal experience. Good luck in your journey

just for the new people.... an ego is a perfectly fine way to start vaping! they don't cost that much and you can upgrade when you feel ready. I still very happily use an ego.
I'm not commenting on the OP, just about the ego in general
don't let people "shame" you for your choices!

I deserved that. :)

Welcome to ECF. I am glad that you found something at a good deal, and that it has been working satisfactorily for you so far. A second battery and a second clearomizer (as backups) would be a good idea.

I have used eGo batteries myself, and have found them to work very well. Personally, though, I have always tried to be sure - to the best that I could - that what I was buying were genuine Joyetech eGo batteries. While I like a good deal as much as anyone else, with batteries I just have a thing about trying to stay with a major well-known brand - that's just my own personal preference.

As part of general battery safety, be sure to use the charger that comes with the batteries, or is the recommended charger for the battery, and also don't leave the batteries charging when you are not around to keep an eye on them.
