To those of you who think that a dual cart should last more than 2 weeks: you're right. I got one with this "filler" taste just a few days ago... and here's a tip from a guy who works at Ruyan Korea (I didn't realize it at the time but digging through my stuff)...
You can clean the wick of a cartomizer using an interdental brush. Size 0.7 or 0.8mm should be fine. Stick it into the center from the top and bottom and GENTLY push/pull/twist a bit. Too rough and you'll rip the silica wick apart... When you remove the brush, use your fingers to clean the brush and repeat... Every once and awhile perhaps drop a bit of juice in there to keep the area moist (wet silica frays less). When the brush comes out mostly clean, drop a bit more juice down the center, then blow it out. Hopefully the juice will come out clean. If it comes out black, then perhaps you're not finished.
That black? It's resin from your flavor... That "filler" taste was actually not filler at all... but charred resin burning more. Hopefully this has saved your dual coil to vape another day. I'll admit that I didn't bring my old cartomizer totally back... maybe 80%... but it's a start... and at least I can vape that full tank dry without a nasty taste...
