wow ... looks like this thread has sort of dired up. things got too tough for me getting quality cartos that i could afford ... ended up going back to analogs (which i can't afford either) ... just got too frustrated with china fixing something that wasn't broken. i still do not like the last emdcc's i bought, but they're all i have, so i'm trying like crazy to vape them ... better than some of the alternatives ... unless there are some newer ones out there i don't know about. i'm on a mission to find out.

I bought these to use with my eGo Twists. eGo Mega Dual Cartomizers LR 1.5 They hold 90 - 100 drops of juice. Yes I counted the drops! These fit perfectly without any adapters on all of my eGos. I haven't had a bad one yet. The flavor, throat hit, and vapor are amazing. But that's just my opinion. I ordered 2 boxes of 5 each and have only use 3 of them in two weeks. They still perform the same as they did out of the box.

Thanks for the link Kenny. I gave up on emdcc's a long time ago. Loved them at first but then the bad batches started arriving. May have to give these VapingZone megas a try. PBusardo had strong praise for these...

If this hasn't been recommended yet try the vivi novas from gotvapes. You HAVE to make sure it's version 2.5 the earlier versions had taste and burnt rubber issues, the newest version is, at least for me, fiddle free.
I'm using these Vaping Zone carto now. Wished I hadn't bought them. They spit too much and I have got hot juice in my mouth from them too many times to count. Back to smoketech for me. I'm using the CE4 2.4 now at home but really like the carto when I'm away from home. They are more secure to carry to me.
If you're using the rubbery mouthpiece, you'll get the liquid in your mouth. You need a drip tip. That will stop about 99% of the liquid from getting in the mouth.
I'm having an issue with my EMDCC. Condensation is forming on the inside of the tank wall (not the tip) and is diluting the juice. My juice got clear, lost a lot of flavor, and doesn't hit well. This is a huge problem, unless its a problem with the juice. I didn't notice it the first time, but now put in a different juice and have the problem.

I've been using EMDCC's for over a year, and I haven't had any problem like you describe. Is this what you have - or one with a round mouthpiece?
Clear eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer, Flat Tip
They last a long time, and I haven't found a need to take them apart. Personally, I clean them simply by running hot water through them, drying them out, and putting them back in use. The only condensation I've ever found is a small amount in the mouthpiece - certainly not enough to dilute the juice. I usually blow the condensation out of the mouthpiece when I top the carto off with more juice - but we're only talking about a few drops. If you want to reduce the condensation to just about zero, continue your draw about a second or more after taking your finger off the fire button. Othewise, what's left of the previous draw still in there turns into condensation.
Got my MDCC from Smok Tek, no I'm not affiliated in any way with any vaping co. Never had a problem using eGo twist vv and depending on the juice, a most satisfying vape. Flush with hot water, let dry and go some more. I'm working on a set that is over a month old and never a dry hit. Good combo for me.
One of my 2 ego mega dual coil carts (EMDCC) just wasn't working right and I decide to remove the filler and see what was going on. The coils and the first wrapping of filler were completely burned. Black particles were all that was left. The outer filler filler material had holes melted through it. Yuck. I've been sucking on that thing! What did I do that caused that? Also tried separating the base from the clear wall portion and no way that coming apart like in the pbusardo video. Couldn't even knock it loose with a hammer and screwdriver.
