Ya, it's still wet. Put in the oven on low temp for awhile, or a sunny window sill. Mine work like new after washing but I have a ventless heater I set them on top of. I've got some that are nearly 4 months old (been through several washes) and have honestly never thrown one away :D

Will try thank you sir

I have a question, on the emdcc first use is awesome but after I cleaned one and let dry for a few days it plain sucks.
Vapor production is low and no flavor.
What am I doing wrong?
I swear it's still wet

A good step to add is to blow the carto out real hard from both ends with your mouth. You'd be surprised to find out how much water will come out. You can also spin the carto on the end of a string and let centrifugal force take most of the water out. Regardless, you still need to let the carto sit a dry a couple of days before putting it back in service.

My results when I washed them out was about 50/50. And every time I re-used one and it didn't work, I was wasting so much time and juice that I felt it didn't justify the money saved. So I quit doing it, and would just buy more.

I ended up getting a VV mod and a cartomizer tank, which I like better than the EMDCC's, but for people using eGo's, I think the EMDCC's are great.

As to 135 pages of posts - Go to your account settings and check out the options. I see 34 pages of posts. Using a greater number of posts per page default makes skimming a long thread like this a lot more efficient. You can also change the color scheme and personalize your forum experience in a lot of other ways, too.[/QUOTE]

Thanks for the tip! You saved me a lot of "page turns"

I just purchased 10 emdcc and am trying my first one out on 1000 mah ego battery. 36mg Geoffs Blend from Tasty Vapor. Amazing cart. Nice th, vapor, etc. Now what about cleaning with a paper clip? Insert through the battery end? I feel some resistance. Don't want to break anythit.

If you're not *very* careful you will. Been there, done that ;)

When you meet some resistance try turning either the paper clip or the EMDCC clockwise and threading the paper clip into the carto or the carto onto the paper clip. The coils inside the carto are pretty fragile - I've had some that I couldn't get a paper clip all the way through but if you force it you're certain to bust a coil.

If you can't get a paper clip through it, pitch it - if you bust a coil you're gonna end up pitching it anyway. EMDCCs running on one coil don't work nearly as well as if both coils are working ;)

I will give this one 3 or 4 days before I try cleaning with a paperclip. I've only been using this for a few hours. I would not want to chance messing 1 up this soon.

They don't seem to snap crackle pop like the 2.0 boges I've been using. But they make a nicer vapor and the th is stronger. I get two day a tops out of the boge so if I go four or five on these I'll be happy. Geoffs blend is delicious but tough on carts .

Already messed up my first one haha. Flooded it once and there was really no going back. Blew it out, wasted a ton of juice. Cleaned it off, tried to clear with a paper clip. Was beyond repair. No big deal. Learning experience. Didn't fill the next one up as much. Will just top off every now and then and see how long it'll last.

Took me 10+ Boges before I figured out the proper fill to get 2 - 3 days out of a cart. Will probably burn through a couple EMDCC before I get the hang of it.

Yup, they crackle with a nice big battery (I use one with my Lavatube 18650 tubemod) but it doesn't when I try a smaller mod, like an eGo .. guessing that the big battery csn push more current to it ????

Flooding? Never done it! .. I initially primed mine with about 40 drops of juice, dripped slowly into the batting about 3 drops, rotate 1/4 turn, 3 more drops, repeat repeat repeat. Lasts a long time and, when I feel it is getting a little dry, about 20 more drops refresh it. No dripping out the batt end, SNAP CRACKLE POP LOL

So I keep reading and reading and just getting more confused :p

I've got an eGo PT 650mAh and I bought a SmokTech eGo Mega Dual Coil Low Resistance with it.

From reading, some people say its a bad idea and will fry the MOSFET and/or reducing the overall life. Others (including a page on MadVapes) say that its OK to use them, no worries. Then I found a topic saying its not dual coil LR's but just single coil LRs. Its compiling into more and more confusion haha

Which is it? I've got the SmokTech just sitting there and I'm using standard 510 cartos at the moment. Even though it seems eGo batteries are meant to be replaced now and then I'd rather try to not mess with their performance/lifespan.

When I am using the SmokTech, I must say its a much nicer experience than standard cartos. Thicker vapor, stronger TH, and I definitely get a nice crackle going with it. Makes the setup look real posh too.

I've been using EMDCCs with Ego and Kgo batteries for over a year and haven't lost a single one. I also do ONLY minimal cleaning when it becomes necessary, and I actually have some EMDCCs that are 6 months old after multiple cleanings. I don't shove anything down the center tube for any reason. When the flavor or draw indicates it's time for cleaning, I simply run hot tap water through the EMDCC for a few minutes, blow it out (mouth and compressed air), let it dry completely, and put it back in use. I've had real good results with MINIMAL methods. If I can't see light through the center tube after cleaning, I toss the EMDCC.

I've been using EMDCCs for several months now and really like them. They hold a lot of juice, but it's my impression that they also retain a lot of juice that goes unused. I've been researching the Reo mods and I'm thinking about investing in a mini when I get my tax refund. They're expensive, but still less than what I spent every month on cigarettes, and so many people seem to love them.

I haven't read this complete thread but if we're talking about the same thing (http://www.vaporbeast.com/Mega_Smok_Tech_Ego_Dual_Coil_Cartomizers_p/c7.htm) I hate these friggin things. After an hour or less of vaping juice builds up into the rubber tip and gets in your mouth causing me to run to the sink to rinse my mouth out before the flesh starts to peel. Rinsing the rubber tip out and drying it gives me another hour or so before it starts all over again. I've put these aside.

Good to know, I was a bit worried. Almost all aspects of the hit seem better with these than with the standard 510 cartos I have lying around, though the vapor is much cooler with the EMDCC.

Apparently can get a drip tip for Mega's from MadVapes and that is supposed to fix the condenstation issue. I think it comes down to the use of rubber, as I've never seen the plastic caps on my 510 cartos get any condensate.

As soon as I notice the flavor getting funky I get a q-tip and clean that mouth piece. But yeah, definitely getting a drip tip for it asap.

Ruined two EMDCCs in two days haha. There's a learning curve to these, too. Don't think I let it sit and soak in the juice the first fill long enough. Plus, I think I was hitting it too often. Anyone have a time interval they follow? Filled up another Boge LR cart and it's a different experience. Too bad the Boge carts are so small. But the Boges hold up well to chain vaping. I'm not sure the EMDCC is designed for that.

Well, onto my third EM. Filled it up fully and I'm going to let it soak overnight. See if that helps.
