I bought "EGO-N starter set" from Easy-eliquid (this one: http://www.easy-eliquid.com/products/-%2d-new-%2d-EGO-N-Complete-starter-SET.html) and from ECigWizard "XL Cartomiser - 2ml eGo/Riva/510 - LR" (this one: http://www.ecigwizard.com/shop/cartomisers/207-xl-cartomiser-2ml-ego-riva-510-lr.html).

First I took that little plastic "cone" out from cartomiser and then filled with 20 drops. Attached cartomiser to battery and tried to vape... nothing... Battery works fine with normal atty & cartridge combination.

Earlier I have tried tank with tank atomizer and it worked fine till it "burned out" (at least I think it burned out).

Am I doing something wrong or is my kit incompatible?

20 drops is not enough for a 2ml stuffing-type carto. Is it a carto w/ stuffing in it? I would put in 36 drops then more if it wanted it, while holding a tissue against the threaded end hole. Then clean it up and then lay it on different sides for 15-20 minutes to make sure every bit of stuffing gets wet (longer if the juice has more than 30% VG and if the juice is thick I would thin the juice before putting it in a stuffing carto).

If it is a reservoir carto - those should be filled w/ a syringe. The ones made by Joyetech sometimes have trouble fitting clones of Ego and only fit real Ego.

Then, assuming carto is properly full and battery is charged

If the carto does get warm then it should make vapor
If the carto does not get warm then either
- look for leaked juice in the threaded end of the battery including down in the circular valley
- or it may not be contacting the center post of the battery. You can use a 510 extender or try carefully lifting the post of the battery a bit

For lifting the post of the battery, just a straightened paperclip can work -- just pry gently, a little bit, at one side of it, then do the same opposite where you first tried to pry it up.

If you have a multimeter, a quick check of cartomizer resistance would tell you if it's failed. If you get infinite resistance when your multimeter is at 200 ohm scale, measuring center contact to outside edge of the connector, it's a failed carto; rare, but possible.

Battery is fresh and filled carto with "Energy Cow" (kind a yak!)... No vapes :(
Lifted centre post from battery... No vapes :(
Tested with multimeter... Centre piece to edge (thread) infinite resistance - so this is broken :(
(tested "normal" atty same way and got 2.9 ohms.)

I guess that all I can do with that cartomiser is to see what's inside :D

Thank You for Your help!
