eGo One 2200 mah

So I just ordered an eGo One 2200 Mah this weekend and it should be here in a couple of days. Prior to now, I've been vaping with a very basic set up...a C twist with a Kangertech mini pro 3 tank. I started vaping to quit cigarettes, which worked, but I have a bunch of 24 mg stuff laying around. My oldest son uses a drip system and says 24 would be way too much in something like that, but he doesn't know about in a tank system and suggested I come on this forum. Should I just plan on buying some 0 or 3 mg to cut it with so I can use it all up? Or will I be ok with the 24 mg in the eGo One?

When I started vaping first with the Halo Triton and then with the Protank 3 (with 2.2 ohm coils), I was using 24 mg juice. When I switched to the Nautilus with the 1.8 ohm coils, I dropped to 15 mg by mixing the 24 mg juice with 6 mg juice. When I switched to subohm tanks with 0.5 ohm coils, I dropped to 6 mg juice. I was left with a bunch of 24 mg juice and I just PIF'ed them.

I'm assuming you bought the eGo One tank as well as the 2200mah battery?
The 24mg should be OK as long as you are sitting down...yeah, you will want to cut it down. You can buy some glycerin from the drug store and cut your juice with that until you find out what level works best for you with it, then buy what you need.
Did you buy coils as well, I hope? I just got one last week with 1ohm coil and the new CLR heads. The stock coil lasted about a day. The CLR has lasted for days now and is rebuildable. They are more expensive to start with, but you save by rebuilding, just need some 28ga Kanthal and some cotton.

The strength of nicotine (mg) you use depends upon how heavy a smoker you were (number of cigs a day), and what juice delivery device you are using.

Clearomizers and cartotanks are less efficient in delivering nicotine, so a higher mg of nicotine can be used. A rebuildable tank or dripper is much more efficient, and a lower mg of nicotine should be used.

Typical recommendations for a new vaper in a less efficient juice attachment:

2 packs per day = 24 mg nic
1 1/2 ppd = 18 mg
1 ppd = 12 mg
1/2 ppd = 6 mg

Cut the nic mg at least by half if using rebuildables.

Buy a large quantity of zero to cut the 24. The ego one is a pretty efficient device. Make a bit of 12 and a bit of 6.

I open the airflow about 1mm with the 1Ω coils for a nice warm MTL.

I own an Ego One 1100 and the Ego One tank. I would suggest lowering your nic to around 12mg/ml. The flavor is much more pronounced also. It hits hard. Maybe buy some VG at Walmart and mix in about 20-30%.

yeah - got an ego one for my wife and she uses a 3mg liquid in it - but she was a casual smoker at best... if you are using the 1.0 ohm coils, I would suggest not going above 12mg... (and some good advice above on cutting down the juice you already have)... if you try out a sub ohm coil on it, I would not suggest going above a 6mg juice - with sub ohm, you seem to get a bit more bang for your buck, nic-wise, though you may go through more juice... but the flavors jump up nicely, in general

but she loves her ego one and it seems to work well for her - very user friendly device!

I was a heavy cigar smoker. ( about 8 a day and did inhale it ) I first started with 3mg of nicotine but i was using the ego one too often. Went up to 6 MG and that was way to strong ( i'm using 0,5 OHM non clr coils ) So now, i mix my 3 MG with my 6 MG and find it perfect. Over the week-end, i went with my mom for her to purchase a ego one mini. ( she's a heavy smoker ) so she purchased 16 MG liquid. on 1 OHM coil, i tried it and OMG ! was way to strong. The throat hit was way to strong for me. Went back home at 11h00 AM. it was around 15h00 before i used my ego one since i had an overdose of nicotine !!!

I guess it's all depend. I tried 50/50 Njoy liquid at 6 MG and found it was less " strong " throat hit. So not only it depends on the how of a heavy smoker you where, but also, the liquid. Some 6mg liquid are to strong, and some are ok ...

Been using it since 2 months and i'm really happy, didn't smoke tobacco ever again !
