received the red mega today. Man, I wish I had noticed that white base, don't know what they were thinking with that. One of these days I'll find a way to hold on to it so I can spin it and sand the finish off of it, and make it an all silver.
Black paint pen works better...Do you have a black magic marker, it would probably help it out.
You musta scrapped it against something?
Okay time for good news,
I just rebuilt my first clr with a 1.8 ohm coil!!!
This is big for me because I have only rebuilt pt2 heads and that was a PITA!
These things are simple!
I have to wait to vape on it cause my tank is being dried out today.
But so far it looks promising!
On my black mega V2, I'm getting some seepage at the seam where the base and the tank meet. I wonder if this is causing my occasional dry hits?
Hey 1.8! That's what I used to build in my PT2s. Don't unnershtan how PT2s could be called a PITA But that's neither here nor there.Okay time for good news,

•this part can & will separate if you say, drop it or put sideways pressure on it (ask me how I know :wife)
you need to push the " threading base " back into the air flow base -- a LIGHT squeeze with pliers will do the trick *click*
not saying that is your problem NOW, but have a look...
•another is the COIL !
be sure your coil is seated COMPLETELY into the cavity
and be sure your coil CAP is on COMPLETELY
this is a dimension need / / if you don't assemble properly the tank won't close tight ONTO the O-ring that seals the juice chamber
only the coil needs to be TIGHT / the coil-cap will STOP without having to be super tight, and the tank to base only need to be snug...
•one more cause of " leak " can/could be condensation INSIDE the base UNDER the coil - nearly impossible to stop (condensation happens)

when I need o-rings, I just go to a big box store or a ACE hardware -- I have lots of o-rings around, don't knows sizes or material made of...
