That's what I love about you guys, you catch EVERYTHING! Yes, there's a button top in there so it's not closing all the way. I have some flat tops on order

So there is no gasket in the Mega VT chimney tube ?
Looking at joyetech and fastech site its not clear enough to tell.

there is a silicone washer in the v2 tank chimney tube that wasn't there in the v1

you mean here, right ?

OK gotcha...

be careful , not only does it not close - but it looks crooked to me (don't cross-thread it) ;)

Thanks i have the V1 version no gasket so this 1 has a gasket then - thanks.

yepper, for whatever reason Joyetech decided to include the silicone washer in the v2
funny to me because I had no issues with v1 and that would just mean more unnessasary cost to them... their research must of shown SOMETHING... ?

Since its Valentines day here is redddish nano vt and pico , come black friday i show the black version ; ) nano is my favorite as i can set it to have the first second or 2 ramped up in wattage to preheat coil but pico not far behind.
Despite the - about screwing the battery cap with all of mine i cleaned out threads and they work just fine , there was a lot of very fine metal savings in the threads .

I can dig it...

you have to be careful (very careful) with the metal on these cheap devices

don't take MUCH to ruin a device bad...

I clean ALL MY THREADS and apply dielectric grease - it makes a diff... (battery charger too)

You do what?!?!

I used to apply Noalox on the threads of my ProVari, because they recommended it, but I hated how it turned black and gunky after a while... I just clean all my connections with Iso. Should I really use dielectric grease? And if so, what kind? Conductive? Non-conductive?

Would a dab of Vaseline do?

Happy V-Day, y'all!

Nah... dielectric grease on electrical contacts works wonders.
