I only build my own CLR's and I only use the big air hole center pin from the .5Ω coils

like to stay close to 1.0Ω (.75Ω - 1.25Ω) / using rayon / prefer a range of 9w-15w

I just lay a line of juice along the wick (priming) as I put it together

by the time the tank is assembled and installed on mod, it is ready to vape...


stock build coils, cotton is packed so tight it is about un-vapable

I use organic cotton make my own kanthal 1ohm coils and e-liquid @95.8% pg/ 4.2%vg with real cig flavoring at 2% Been vaping this e-liquid formula for some years .

Anyone remember the genesis tanks from years ago lol still have mine.

There will be a time or two over the next 17 years that I might slightly disagree with you, PufferZ. This would be one. I find the stock coils to be absolutely delicious, and I'm a strictly rayon lady!

Those are all in my collection and still seeing occasional use. Most are wicked with mesh, 1 with cable, 1 with yarn, and a couple with hybrid wicks... oh, and one hybrid ceramic genesis dripper...

ya know I mighta went for the dramatic and SLIGHTLY over-spoke about stock coils

but to me there is a night-n-day diff comparing to my own SS/rayon/big air hole pin

Thanks - I have tried various wattages and am in the same range as you but a tad less at the high end. Also tried different air flow adjustments. May need to give the 0.5s a try.

•the CLR coils are HORIZONTAL w/large juice entry holes

IMO, horizontal is always better than vertical!

Yes sir, that's TC you see! All washed up and going strong.
I dropped my Hana modz on the concrete 1 day after I got it :-( hence the band aid (at least it's a cute pink)[emoji4]

I have a similar problem with my Pico Mega but I use a vape band to keep it all together. lol.... at least it's pink. Have a Lemo 2 on it.... love these tanks too.
