just BAD quality control (didn't get snipped off)

take your wire cutters and trim it down

as long as it don't interfere with the threads and it ONLY touches POSITIVE wouldn't be a problem tho

just a qwik *snip* all better

That's what I thought. I will build with the positive end straight up and cut off even with the top of the insulator.

For those of you that have the Armor, are the AFC's difficult to adjust because it is very tight? Have you found a way to more easily turn it?

both of mine are very tight

if you try-n-loosen them up, they leak air and possibly condensation could escape

I like them wide open, so I don't fool with them
I stick a thumb nail in the slot to open tank/base never moving the AFC... :D

Thanks! It's going to be a pretty difficult decision. :(
Good luck with whatever you decide, @LynnNC - either one might be difficult for a while, but we OLD BROADS have been through it all, and come out OK. Gonna take more than that to take us down!

Yep. In fact, I posted a warning about that a day or two ago. The good thing is, once you get it where you want it, it stays there. Would much rather have it too tight than so loose it moves around on its own. And, it does get a bit easier with use though never so loose as to be a problem. Got my "two more" order today. Happy.

I believe I'm part of a HUGE group (and you guys are all included) who brings info to the table. Isn't that why we're here? It's a constant and fluid learning process. And we love it!
Kat you're right. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on ECF. I used "handful" as a figure of speech considering ECF has roughly half a million members. I absolutely was not slighting anyone. I myself have learned so much from so many people here. My vaping and my stocking up for the dark ages would not be the same without so many of you here.

Thanks! It's going to be a pretty difficult decision. :(
Here's hoping another job comes along soon.

My Amor arrived today! I really like its looks. Never had a frosted tank before. I'm glad it's not too frosted though because I like to see the level of my juice.

So help me with those coils. I have never vaped anything but 1.5-1.7. I'm not into experimenting. I'm sure the .5 will be taken apart for parts. Given my taste should I even bother trying the 1.0?

lol...too many tanks lately, Chels. You bought this because it works with the CLR...:D

Bea, if you have a 1.0 handy, go ahead and put it in there. Vapey goodness.
This thing came with a .5 and a 1.0
Now I can figure out how to adjust the af . It's totally closed and won't open. Was I supposed to open it before I screwed the tank on?
Mine is tight like Mike said it is but I tightened the base on pretty good and opening the AF was pretty easy.

Just takes some fiddling to get it to move, but one you have it where you like it, it won't move around on you. Does loosen up a bit with use.

I think it was the Amor Plus you were thinking about that doesn't work with the CLR.

Thanks, mike. That's what I thought I did but I've bought a lot lately.

That 1.0 is not a CLR coil, though. You might like it, no harm in trying. But, if you have the 1.0 CLR, I'd try that, and if you don't like it, just rebuild it.

I'm like you. About 1.5 is my sweet spot, but I really like the 1.0 CLR. Not hot at all.
