Say what? This one?

Odyssey CLL Tank

Kinda pricey. Is it better than our eGo Ones?
Yup, that's the one.

I wouldn't call it merely a rebranded tank. I seriously doubt that any Joyetech or Wismec tank is built as well as the CLL. It's completely stainless steel, down to the 510 (they checked with their product engineers and got back to me), hence it has a nice solid feel and is noticeably heavier than the Tron-S. Tip is not what I'd prefer (I like delrin better), but is acceptable. Small eliquid window is a downside, but on the flip side, the glass tube is so well protected by the surrounding stainless steel that I think you'd be hard pressed to break it. The non-removable glass cylinder is sandwiched between o rings and a barely visible, apparently press-fit top cap. Threads are very smooth, as is the visible air flow control. Vapes just as well as the Tron-S, perhaps a tad cooler.

I consider them my vapocalypse tanks. Clearly a step up, imo, and I have little doubt that they will outlast any other tank I have owned to date. 5 year warranty on them - for good reason - but note that Totally Wicked may not survive the FDA onslaught. I was impressed enough with my first CLL that I bought a second upon the next sale. I paid something like $26.45 for each. No regrets. :)

(Still think I get better flavor out of the Kayfun Mini v3 clone tho...) :p

Pricey is spot on . Do not own one but i doubt its better vape wise , maybe material wise if its made of ss or titanium which neither material is used for the ego mega series tanks.
Sanded base of black ego v2 base to match silver top tank and with a heavy hand copper color started to show through.
Now i know i can create a nice copper colored v2 and polish nice with my dremel afterwards,
Yeah, I think most, if not all, of the cheaper tanks on the market are plated brass - or non-SS anyway. It really bugs me when the 510 threads start wearing out and start taking on a copper-ish tinge. Had a GS Air MS (which I really liked, btw) that eventually became useless because of thread wear.

The threads on my Tron-S are starting to take on a brass/copper-ish color.

Looks like JoyeTech decided to ruin the eGo ONE name with their latest AIO product!

https://www.heavengifts.com/product/Joyetech-eGo-ONE-TFTA-Kit.html
Clarification on the eGo ONE TFTA. The link I posted previously from HG mentions it as an AIO "style" device. It's not really. Nowhere on Joyetech site is it called AIO. It is tank system of sorts but the base is built into (onto?) the battery. And the coil mounts into the battery/mod. Since its new ProCL coil Will fit our EOs I wonder if it might accept a CLR?

At any rate the 2ml capacity (for now?) rules out any interest for me.

Interesting. The coils do look similar, don't they?

between here and there
Yeah and the JT site says they're compatible with our standard EOs.
Yes they do. Here is what they state on their site.
"The sleek top-airflow is built for optimal flavor, packing the new ProCL 0.6ohm head which is capable for other eGo ONE series."

The name ProCL does suggest an improved CL coil? Maybe its just another option for an additional ohm.

:)

eta. I wonder if the bases from the eGo one tanks would fit these in order to use on other tanks?

Yes in looking at a few voiceless video's the tank base is part of the battery- to bad.
Being 2 ml capacity tank is a downer personally, clr coils look smaller than this newer one to me anyways but hard to tell for sure and think reason for it not being mentioned anywhere i could find on
internet.

Sounding like a broken record from last rant but i think they missed a larger crowd being tank size could have been bigger ,could have been made as a stand alone tank for separate sale and advertised as accepting CLR coil heads or have an adapter that will such as the pico tank.

Could go on and on such as dumping the proprietary battery and made it a tube mod with regulated head that accepts18650 batteries as basically this is a throw away device once battery goes bad .

Cons - mentioned above
Pro's - great for someone just giving up stinkies and venturing into vaping.

TPD regulations limit tank size to 2ml. I doubt we'll see many new tanks larger, at least not with a starter kit.

Thats a shame if those regulations go through but least some of us are prepared just in case.

Thanks, FranC.

I'd been tempted to try Ego One Mega tank with it's CLR coils because they seem so popular and easy enough to rebuild.

But, the GS Air is too airy for me. So, the CLR probably is too.

Oh, well. Like I really need to collect another type!

Comparing the CLR coils and the GS Air, which is better for MTL vaping?
Had 2 GS Airs but busted both pretty quickly. :-x Probably why I have such a dislike for tanks that show a lot of glass!

Any who, if I remember correctly (wouldn't swear to it but I think) I was using the Aspire non-Nautilus BVCs in them.

I didn't know you could do that. I'll give it a try. I have lots of non-Naut BVCs laying around.
