I've got two Melo 3 tanks. One has an ECR coil in it which I've rewicked with Rayon. The other one has a ceramic EUC coil with the sleeve adapter in it. I like both of them better than the standard Melo 3 coils.

So this Mellow - is it a pop in coil tank only? And if so, it take proprietary "ECR" coils only? No chance it takes the CLRs?

No CLR, but there is an available CLR-like RBA...

The melos take EC coils and has a rebuildable ECR coil. They are slightly larger than the CLR but are basically the same type of idea. I like both the stock EC 0.3 ohm coils and the ECR rebuildables. All versions of the Melos' (type 2 and 3) and reg size and mini melo's take these coils.

eta And I think the iJust tanks also take these same coils

you're close (no cigar) :D meeelow

they also take the ECR coil - R like in CLR means rebuild

what they are is based on the Aspire Atlantis coils (very popular)

I think you might luv it a little too much!:firefox:
never - it really IS THAT GOOD (for me anyways)

Bought some minus the tanks for Mrs stash a good while back when her ego batteries go kaput.
Will take a long time before opening them as she have mas of the ego batteries some not even used yet.
Did open one and tried it and its nice but still like my hcigar 75 nano little better but the price cannot be beat thats for sure .
that's all part of my extreme LIKE for said device - complete package, a good price...

Love me some Hagar!
Red Rocker Rules - Bad Motor Scooter runs on Rock Candy

And then I got to thinking..I've got iStick mini's, 20W's, 30W's, 40W's, a 50W & 60W and a 100W...I can't break up the succession so I need a 60W. :p
couldn't agree more, it just looks 'right' in your list :)

I use the Melo3's every day. They came with my Pico's and I bought 4 more.
yepper, they remind me of the bigger bulkier Melo 2 and I think they work great
Wow, they must be great tanks!
:glug:I tried to tell ya way back - the TC60w with the Melo2 and ECR :D:glug:

I absolutely LOVE my Melo3's! And I know this is the eGo thread but my eGo tanks are in the stash box. I don't use them.
:shock::shock::shock: :laugh:
that's why we are all here, just doing what we do... :)

I'd like to try one of the " NotchCoils " just never bothered with it YET

Thanks S&S and S&H. Appreciate the info.

Now the REAL question. Can you compare the vape on the Stickie 60 with anything else we may have discussed, including DNA mods?

The melo 2's I have used since they were introduced. And I used them on the iStick 60 for a long time, until I came to this thread and realized there was more I needed to experiment with. Plus I really felt I could not help out newer members if I had no idea what they were talking about.

Vape wise for the comparison from the 2 to the 3 for me is strickly ml size. The melo2 holds more than the melo mini 3 and I prefer the way you refill those as compared to the 3's(but that is just me).
The stock coils lasts about a month for me because I don't usually vape the darker eliquids, I prefer the clearer type ones. The ECR is really easier for me to rebuild because it does offer a little more room to work with as it is a little larger coil. The vape on it is also awesome but does not have the same longevity as the 0.3 ohm does for me.

As far as the iStick vs another mod, to me a battery (since I only use wattage mode) is a battery. Form style the iStick is a sharp looking mod that fits in your hand and is very easy to use just like the pico is.
Sorry if this doesn't totally cover your question, but I am sure others will add to what I have written.
:)

It's no DNA or SXMini. It's the iStick 40 with a replaceable cell and 20 more watts. Um... better than a Kamry... bettervthan a Movkin... it just works. In Wattage mode, the vape is pretty smooth. In Ti and Ni mode, it does the job (no burnt wickages), but it is a little off, and can get a little pulsy...

Thank you! It's a great start, S&S. I'm actually thinking about the chip and the vape quality more than the size and form factor. There are good vapes, and there are OUTSTANDING vapes, and I do believe that we all have experienced at least a part of that equation.

I happen to ADORE the 'Stick30 for a few reasons. Its size and shape and weight just "do it" for me, but to just get another mod, even tho low priced, would not add a lot of value to my already bursting at the seams stable.

So, after long and hard thought, and equally annoying conversations with DPL, I've decided that for the size and form factor, I would like the new Jac 75w DNA. It has enuf similarities to the aspects I love with the 'Stick, but with a much higher quality chip (one hopes), and a finer build in manufacture (one hopes). ;)

Plus, welp, I had no choice. He's getting me one tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

I have no answer or excuse for my ignorance. Yes, I ordered that today[emoji15] I'm so embarrassed!

No need to be. ECF and especially this thread throws out so many different suggestions, I sometimes have to go back and re-read. You have actually caught onto the 'journey' and the lingo faster than anyone I know.

eta I only mentioned it because you would have spent more money buying another one and you said your bank account was already screaming for mercy......:)

Thank you, sugar. That's exactly what happened. I got confused! I'm happy I'm getting what I thought I wasn't!
