OK, after some reading and experimenting found that most enjoyable 0.5 Ohm Ti CLR setup for me is in a dangerous zone - 500F at 12 watts.
But it fills so good :(.

Any thoughts?

what I would suggest (what I do might differ from you of course) o_O

is reverse your settings

-make your WATTs in TEMP CONTROL 25w (at the least)
-then take your TEMP down to say, 220°f

now start your Temp increase and find the spot that YOU prefer

don't worry what your screen sez: TEMP PROTECTION - just vape it and increase temp to where you like it
at a later time you can concern yourself about LOCKING in your Ω's

always start low, then increase to suit you
my current: .87Ω / 27w / 340°

Haha. I did edit my post to indicate #!
I am not sure how many tanks and coils I need for my stock pile! I am loving these coils and tanks and don't want to run out. I have found some non Mega tanks and have the feeling that if I don't buy more they will not be available later

between here and there
So tell me, tell me! How many Ego v2 tanks and CLR coils do I really need? Right now I have 4 tanks and 3 boxes of coils and I'm thinking I need to stock up even more
What would be a good stocked up #?
It would depend on if you rebuild the coils or not. If you do then you probably have enough, if you use them and replace the entire coil and case (some throw away) then you would need enough to feel comfortable with. Some folks don't want to rebuild coils and since they cost about the same as the reg coils they figure why not have the better vape with the clr's?

:)

Only problem I have with this formula is that none of my ejuices(I diy) would make it at this watts. They would all taste burnt.

:)

eta you know, I will try this, and re-reading my remark doesn't make much sense, since the temp will be so low. So I will let you know how it goes.

I do build coils now but my eyesight and arthritis will later get the best of me! So far I have 4 tanks going and I have only had to dry burn and rewick! That is what I love about them!

Well, if you are thinking about healthcabin for a purchase, they only have the TI clr coils so no dry burning those.
FT has the reg CLR's for around $8 or so and today there is a 15% discount code = FREEDOM(today only, till midnight Chicago time)

my eJuice is about the same

in my experience standard Watts mode is far diff than TC mode

25+ watts in TC mode means SPEED (ramp up)
TEMP mean heat as in burn / no burn

with low W in TC , atomization never happens - IMO

;)

Not sure what you mean by atomization?

220F 25 watts, I get nothing.

220 is the START (safety for beginning)

just go back now to the `ole Rule-of-Thumb

start low, increase in steps (mine won't fire at 220 either)

just like we did with Volts / Watts / now TEMP :D

Ok it tastes the same to me at 450F 25 watts. Then the only difference would end up being how long the battery lasts before needing charging. Slightly harder hitting tho not much.

Not sure what you mean by atomization?

being a tootle-puff I also started at LOW Watts with TC

so like I said IN MY EXPERIENCE at low I got flood, wet hits...
the coil was not getting hot enuff to burn, heat, atomize the eJuice

when I got to 25+ W it all came into focus and works good for ME

you see many just set the TC Device to the MAX WATTS and allow TC to do ALL the work - that's a bit MUCH for me

I see. That has not happened with mine, so I wasn't sure if that is what you meant.
