Only wire used is kanthal for clr's and also for zenith coil heads yes i have rebuilt a few and made them horizontal coils not as easy as clr's though but can be done with a little work.
As for insulators have yet to ruin or burn one up vaping around 10 -12 watts.
No TC here never tried as quite satisfied with regular wattage vape heck took forever to make the switch from volts to wattage vaping. ; )

Volts taste better! ;)

I haven't technically killed any either, but a few are showing "wear". I vape at 11ish watts, but I take pretty long hits. I can see that they're not infinite, at least not in my hands (not many things are). :blink::blush:

:)
recently got the eGo ONE tank series (by Joyetech)
have been looking around to read some about them, but not much out there,
so I thought why not see what others have to say/think about them…

just thought I’d give them some love…

what drew me to this series of tanks is the price/size (size/price)
the features are pretty typical – removable drip tip; air flow control; glass; bottom fill

they come in a plethora of choices and configurations

diameter-capacity (mm-ml)
16-1.8 {mini}
19-1.8 {standard}
19-2.5 {XL}
22-4.0 {mega}

available coils
•.5Ω/cotton (vertical & horizontal) (CLR)
•1.0Ω/cotton (vertical & horizontal) (CLR)
•.4Ω / Titanium / cotton
•.2Ω / Ni200 / cotton
•.5Ω / Titanium / cotton (CLR)

I like to put all my eggs in one basket
I DON’T like to have several different devices all over
find something, perfect it, and stick to it…
so I chose these little tanks and I am in the process of making them high-performance :facepalm:

after being at this (vaping) just passing two years, what I am converting from
is the kanger bcc (single bottom coil) – the EVODs and SMOK RBC have been my ‘go to’
building cotton coils @ 1.2-1.6Ω in the bcc’s have been working out pretty well for me

I LOVE THE DESIGN of single horizontal coils
simple, durable, reliable, does not over stress the battery

now I am trying to apply the same to the eGo ONE tank system

the eGo Ones are cousins to the eLeaf GS air tanks, I really like both (just better coils)

an eLeaf TC40 with a 19-1.8 tank on it, is a sexy little vape device IMO :D

so wondering what the other peeps think of the eGo ONE tanks…

:tumble:

Have recently gone through my stash, to see which things I might want to put on the Classies sometime (assuming it'll still be here on ECF for awhile yet). Found that I have WAY more eGo ONE 1.8mL tanks than I thought I had. Debating putting them on there not too long from now, but don't know if people are even still looking for any or not. Lots of other MTL tanks that people really love, have come out since the eGo ONEs.

    They still have a following.

    No idea--I've only used the mega eGos because of the larger capacity. If you have a serious surplus, just list them. And good luck!
