and that's a good thing! ;)

A very good thing. When Mister Clumsy (Who, me? Yeah, me!) drops and breaks one, he can think of it as creating useful spare parts for another. Have dropped a Mega VT, and it survived. Not like the many GS-air M's and tanks I've sent to an early grave.

My wicks get stuck in the coil. I need to burn them out. They're usually crudded up by the time I get around to re-wicking.
I added a new feature to my coiling/wicking base. A 3/4" hole for my 1100 mah Ego One. Makes things a bit easier.

do you try rinse with warm water (good and wet) then screw them out ?
what I do when one sticks or I do that all the time...

;)

Eww.... Maybe you should consider rewicking a bit more often. ;)

Mine come out easily with a help of a simple pair of tweezers. Just sayin'...

1/2 air????

sorry, guess I didn't explain well

ego V1 has a full air slot / Tron has hidden air / the V2 has ½ the slot now cut right AT THE EDGE of the base, so I called it half...

No, you didn't.

Semi hidden slot? :D I wonder what it's doing differently. I like my V1 eGo tank because it doesn't leak--ever. I don't mind the windows and I feel that the glass inside the cage is better protected. And since you can't replace that glass tank (can you?), well, I think I'll stick with the originals--unless the V2 works better, somehow.

Katya, there is at least one U.S. vendor selling Mega VT replacment tops, and bases.
Wonder how they managed that? IMRs will rember the vendor name. I think he bought a couple during July 4 feeding frenzy.

Ahh.... here we are-

Joyetech eGo ONE Mega (VT) Tank Replacement (4mL)

Patience, Birdie. Takes time to unscrew the top from the base.

Our time is running out, Gran. August 8th is just around the corner. After that, who knows what will happen. Maybe nothing--maybe our happy shopping days will be gone forever.
