I knew my first build was beginner's luck. I can't get the new build to work worth a :censored:
I know just what you mean. A few days ago I was bragging how much easier it had gotten for me to rebuild an eleaf 1.5Ω coil after I built one that was (and still is) perfection. Well, yesterday and today I tried rebuilding three of them, and none are worth a hoot. I put them on the meter, and the resistance is very unsteady, dropping steadily 1Ω at a time. Back to the drawing board. Luckily, the eGo One and the 1.0 CLR coil have reduced the eLeaf coils to backup status, so I just fiddle with then when I feel like being tortured.

Can i say it here in this thread without offending anyone as the tank is not a ego tank; but come to think of it it may be a joyetch product just not positive.
Did get a another mod as well and not a joyetech product that i know for certain.

no, no, no // we are CLR ego types that chew the fat about vapin' - ANY VAPIN'

and mix in a little life topics for GOOD measure

just a collective group that happens to like eGo ONES

Puf, i see the amor tank you speak of available for as low as 11.99 here in states. and up to 24.99.

Wanted to try the top fill amor plus yes does not use the Joyetech clr but its own brand which i recoiled easier as it is a bigger coil housing than the joyetech clr but not crazy otherwise about the tank airflow design as the bottom pin on coil head has a huge air hole under that contact bar and i find even closing the bottom cap air holes quite a bit the vape is not nearly as good as the megav2 .

Tried my heart out with the air holes configuration and vape inhale is either too airy or opposite being not airy a denser vape but a harsher tasting vape.
Just cannot find the dense smooth vape like the megav2 with that tank.

Then tried several different smaller diameter drip tips and it changed somewhat but far from where it needs to be.

Tried putting scotch tape to cover air holes on opposite side and fiddled with air holes on one side only.
It must be the air hole as it is much to big in the pin which i looked at when i rebuilt coil from .5 to 1 ohm which is my preference.

For better lack of words i'll call it the air to eliquid mix ratio, if that air hole in the bottom pin was smaller and or i can find a smaller air hole pin to fit the ratio may change better for me personally .
Kinda like changing jets in the old school car carburetors to find the right combination when motor components are changed, those were fun days ! lol

Its too bad i cannot get a similar inhale and taste as joyetech's megav2 or i would like it a lot
otherwise as its so easy to fill.

I'm not knocking amor plus it as its very well built just not for me but sure many others may love it.

The Joyetech mega v2 for me personally has an air to fuel ratio er air to eliquid mix ratio that's absolute perfect for me personally.

Maybe one day down the road i'l figure out how to decrease size of the air hole in the bottom pin as its way bigger than even the .5 ohm clr and see if that's the ticket but in mean time i'll always enjoy the
Joyetech model's vape as its a true delight.

@Dieseler

yepper, sorry I have no knowledge/usage with the amor plus & the coils

but I had a similar problem when I started with the CLR - at that time it was TOO MUCH air for my liking
so I did this and wonder if you can find an appropriate restrictor plug... ?
might take (3) *restrict coil center hole / *close afc / *add smaller drip tip

juice/air ratio--well heck yes, I was an OLD " jet " switcher back-n-the-day (used to have a secrets` tin with several)

:)

ps: where do you see amor (no plus) for sale in USA?

Yes that .5 ohm clr has a big airhole , the clr 1 ohm has a much smaller hole as i have both.

With the wismec being much to airy i looked around thru my vapeing stash and after trying several
things nothing worked liked i preferred.

Then i tried something simple real simple and happy to say wismec amor plus is working as good as my megav2 tanks great taste , will vape a few tanks to make sure of no gurgling leaking etc etc.
So far about vaped 60% of tank fill which holds 3.8ml and its performing perfect , nice thing about tank is i can remove drip tip turn top of cap till it clicks open 2 filling ports to fill .

What i did was take the pin and its gasket from 1 ohm clr removed just the contact pin on bottom of wismec coil head left its original gasket and tested to see if the
pin would make contact with base.

Here in picture you can see on left the clr 1 ohm pin on right is wismec pinwhich has a much larger airhole.

Bottom picture -On left wimsmec coil head now assembled notice 2 gaskets now, on right 1 ohm clr for size comparison.

Yes sir th
@Dieseler

so you put a CLR pin inside/using the silicone also - how cool is that !!!

and it worx as you want ! That's GREAT !

:rickroll::rickroll:
Yes sir now almost finished vaping the tank and happy to say its working excellent.
So happy now as my only gripe with using Joyetech's megav2 was it was not a top fill tank.
Now i have one er 4 make that.lol

The wismec coil can take a beating also as its not chrome over brass like the clr's.
I recently broke a clr when it was stuck in its base so i unscrewed the top portion and put a screwdriver to turn it off and it snapped and then i saw the brass although not a big deal.
Just like the wismec heads as there larger and easier to fiddle with i found out.

Still have a few hundred clr's i stashed and they will be always in rotation with the megav2 just like to have options though.

Found a place to order 5pk of rba (rebuildable) heads for the wismec for $6.05 a pack
if i buy 10 packs price is then $ 5.24 for 5pk overseas order and will most likely purchase tomorrow .

Am a little cornfused...Amor...vs...Amor Plus...

Does either...both...neither...

1. Use Joyetech CLR coils and...

2. Have 4ml. capacity and...

3. Is Top Fill ???

..

Wismec amor is a bottom fill tank takes 2.5m of e-liquid and accepts joyetech clr coilheads i never tried this tank .

Wismec amor plus is a top fill tank takes 3.8ml of e-liquid does not take Joyetech clr coils it takes wismec coil heads which come boxed with tank and 4 types of Amor Plus Atomizer Heads - Ni, Ti, Kanthal and a RBA being a rebuildable coil head shown in picture few posts up on left side.
I only use the RBA head though to vape.

If you need any more information on the wismec amor plus tank ask away as i do use this tank.

This is what the wismec amor plus looks like forgot to mention the base diameter is appr 22mm .
In the box also is a little bit of wire and some cotton and 2 different color sets of o-rings red + blue, clear color shown here is set already installed.
AFC- air flow control ring on base of tank 5 holes on each side , for example when turned to have 2 air holes opened the other side corresponds the same and will also have 2 air holes open.
It is a very airy tank as it comes as i mentioned but i was able to fix that to my liking.

@gerrymi - - Dieseler said it all :)

only thing I could add is that it took a third company to make the Amor (Joye eGo ONE//eLeaf GS air//Wismec Amor)
to me the AMOR is the GS air with a factory CLR coil... :w00t:
upload_2016-10-10_16-48-21.png
then the more deluxe tank, the PLUS; to me is more like an Aspire style and . . .
upload_2016-10-10_16-49-8.png

. . . the coils are similar to aspire coils (but NOT the same?)
