Mike, I only use one. It's one I bought from the Classies. It was used when I bought it.

I have read that some other people have had this happen. I have rewicked the CLR coil with rayon a few times but never built a coil for it. It was new when I put it in.

It only happens when the juice level drops to about 1/4. I don't have a clue why. It's not being used now since I bought the Trons.

:2c:

for the most part, I think all the eGo ONE tanks perform very similar - IMO
the Tron being the most restricted air flow, the v2 having SLIGHTLY more air-flow than the rest (slightly) -IMO

the saturation/condensation build up UNDER the coil (inside the base) I believe is due to the fine design of the tank...
(the reason the Tron doesn't show leak/seepage is they have ALMOST a closed air flow opening)
the seepage is also DUE TO a loss of vacuum inside tank because of air/fluid ratio (more air, less fluid promotes high PRESSURE to PUSH out the eJuice thru the wick)

the reason I complain about the Tron, is the closed/hidden air flow blows the VAPE right into your face ! :-x

I too occasionally get a little leak at the V1 airflow. I also get a LOT OF condensation. I'm convinced that condensation is more the culprit than wick seepage. Once enuf builds up in the chimney ain't no place for it to go but back down thru the coil to the base. Just decided last night to start cleaning the chimney/drip tip halfway thru a tankfull,no big deal. Certainly not enuf to disenchant me with these near perfect tanks.
Of coarse if I REALLY needed ABSOLUTELY leakfree I could always use my Cubis that heats the excess juice to scalding then spits it straight down my throat instead of draining out the bottom.;)

@Katdarling, not the V2. I guess you could say V1.These came first. I have the ones that Look like this.

I have 2 black Trons and 2 red ones.

Thanks, gandy. I'm mentally recalling PufferZ pics again now. I sort of passed over the V1 because of the window design.

PufZ is perfectly accurate on the vacuum loss, and the air to fluid ratio. I was always taught to keep tanks rather full. (Do I always do that? Umm, no. )

(Thanks for the balloons!)

Where is a good place to get the v1's. My only niggle on these ego one tanks, is that the air flow is hidden.
You can get the Ego One version 1 at Litecig. Here's a link, the site is less than ideal, as it does not show a photo sometimes until you click on the individual item.
Electronic Cigarette Supplies & Electronic Cigarette Refills for Name-Brand Electronic Cigarettes! E-Cigs from LiteCigUSA

They come in 1.8, 2.5 and 4 ML sizes. Some are sold out.

Here are the REBUILDABLE "CLR" coils. Remember to get 1.0 Ohms unless you like a very airy draw. Joyetech eGo ONE CLR Replacement Atomizer heads

AND ... rewick with rayon when you do the first wick change!

Another pro-tip on these tanks (and any other purchase, for that matter) GO SMALL at first and see if it is everything you hoped. You can order more later, if you love them. They work well for ME with the pg/vg percentage I use and with the flavors I personally like. As with anything YMMV!

Thanks for that Nanny.

That's the place I bought 2 of my Trons from. I was trying to remember but couldn't.
