gerry, SO glad you brought this up (and to light). Once again, I often feel like odd man/woman out. I see and read and hear of so many people who seem to STRIVE to lower their nic, and seem to think that there's a badge in store for going zero.
I personally think nic is an awesome little drug, fairly innocuous, and one I very much wish to continue. I have no desire to keep lowering it, or to eventually get off nic entirely.
Especially in light of all the evidence that it can be so beneficial to us. In addition to the evidence so far, that indicates it may offset Alzheimer's disease, there is also substantial science on its effect against Parkinson's.
Nicotine and Parkinson’s disease; implications for therapy
I believe there are other studies (that I don't have handy right now) that are indicative of its benefit for even more of the unwanted and treacherous dis-eases.
I know I won't win any popularity contests for saying this, but again, thank you for mentioning it. Food for thought.
First off, I posted justvthe quote in error... oops...
I agree Kat. I have no intentions of giving up Nic or Caffeine. That said, I have reduced from 24 to 0, 3, 6 depending on what I am vaping. My tootlers get 6, my daily drivers get 3, and my cloud generators get 0 or 3.
When I started vaping, I suffered through a week of migraines due, it turns out, to using too high a Nic... in fact, it was reaearching that symptom that led me to ECF. Now, I know my limits and track things pretty close...
