Have you tried SS316L on TC? Bummer that you can't choose even the general color of the mod. Also, apparently no custom TCR slots on it.

Only had it about 24 hours. There are firmware update claims in the manual, so TCR might be forthcoming.

There are some sites that let you select a primary color.

I am using it in SS316 TC right now. It might run a little cooler than I am used to, or it might be the wicking in this tank... the Orbit RTA is a bit odd... it's got a Petri-ish deck coupled with a Taifun barrel/wick ports.

I ran the first couple tanks using a KA1 build as I didn't have any SS with me in my road kit. It was real good with a .3 build at 45 watts.

Now, I'm running a .3 SS316L build at 50-80 watts and 420-470F trying to dial it in...
