Most of the time, anyways.
My first CLR is still going strong after 19 months. It gets a new coil & wick once a week, minimum, sometimes more frequently, depending on use & juice I happen to be using. That thing has to be nearing 100 rebuilds. I swapped the little insulator once in that time. I just took one out of the CL coils that come with new Ego One & Tron tanks. I never use the CL's, but save them for the insulators.

Yes indeed clr coils have been good to me and soon to the Mrs soon as she goes thru her cl coil heads, she does not want to waste them even though we each have a stash of several hundred clrs .

@Dieseler, reading your post above reminded me of something. I'm curious when I hear about a married couple that quits smoking. I think it's pretty amazing, actually, considering how hard it is for even one person to make the leap. If it's not too personal, I'd like to hear the dynamics of how you and your mate both decided to give up cigarettes.

@pufZeppelin - I had a question for you, but for the life of me, I can't recall what it was right now. 
The plain Mega batteries with just a fire button got kinda lame for me above 1.2 ohm. But these VT batts with 3 power levels worked to my liking up to 1.5 for me. That's as high as I went with them tho.
You wanted to know what the spare O rings in the Trontee package are for.@pufZeppelin - I had a question for you, but for the life of me, I can't recall what it was right now.

Those spare o-rings are for the seal on the base.
Edit: and presumably the top as well as that entire unit comes apart.
