Hope they work, but they’re peek insulators so I’m guessing they’ll be quite stiff.

I do not think they'll work as they are rigid peek. No room to squeeze in a wire AND pin.

Some time ago, I had tried an insulator for a Kanger coil and it fit the CLR.
Lost the Kanger insulator.
Possibly someone who has a Kanger coil might try it out...figured they would be easy to find.
But my search-fu turned up nada on replacement insulators for the Kanger.

Which Kanger coil? Subtank or clearomizer?

Hmmm....... not sure I understand, Mohid. I've not had any wicking issues with the CLRs (and I use rayon straight from the baggie).

We the rayon and let it dry out? I'm not sure I'm following. Why do that, Rick?
Since Rayon shrinks when wet, my theory is that more can be pulled into the coil if it's wet. I let it dry before using because water doesn't vape well. ;)

Interesting experiment, Rick, but I'm still not sure I follow the logic. Do report back, SVP?

I don't think that second one will work because it is a hard inflexible sort of plastic

There have been so many replies to my post that I don't know which ones to quote. Let me clarify a little. Some time ago I posted in this thread about the nasty dry hits I was getting from the Clr and that was because of slow wicking of 70VG juice. I was using 0.5ohm coil and taking too frequent or too long puffs. Removing the ring remedied that. Then sometimes, not very frequently, I had leakage. I could see that the cotton wick was not covering the wicking holes completely and that was the source of leakage and it is what I'm talking about. Was I not wicking it correctly?

Now I'm using rebuilt 1.0ohm coils and reinstalled the ring. Haven't had a leak in over a month. But sometimes I get a little burnt taste. One of the reasons I think is slow wicking. And the thread about formaldehyde has got me worried. (gonna switch to TC soon which will cure the burnt taste but not the vapor consistency)

I'm not quite ready to switch to rayon yet :)
