Interesting...preaching to the choir...but I sent to friends...

What's Wrong with E-Cigarettes?

I don’t disagree with the content of the video, but you guys do know that “PragerU”, a.k.a. “Prager University”, is not the name of an educational institution, right? :?:

LOL! Yes.

Excellent video presentations though, and consistently too (IMO). This one was particularly good, again IMO.

The 'Burgh, PA.
Have a few v2 versions in rotation with older version base on, its easier to use small needle hypo
to get any escaped e-liquid out of that base without unscrewing coil head.

I'm moderately lazy...me...upside down...open AFC...blow 2-3 times...

Now on a more serious note (it's my one for the day), I usually wrap a paper towel around the drip tip, and flip my forearm downward, quickly and forcefully. That usually works for me every time (or it's possible that it just works enough for me to not care?).

Either or.... :vapor:

We made it through OK, Fran, with just scatters of big branches everywhere. House got pelted with them pretty badly last night.

I knew everything north was in BAD shape, and I'm really sorry to see that you too a brunt. This was/is definitely one that won't be forgotten anytime soon. :-(

I don't remember - do you have a generator?

We have a 7000w propane generator. Won't run the water heater or electric stove but it runs everything else. It's been running all day. We're good.

Your water heater must draw heavy. Ours will carry that, just not the dryer, stove, and I usually try to avoid the microwave. It's gas though - I don't know if that makes a difference.

It sure costs a lot to run when the days start building up, but... (you know).

These premade SS coils from FT should be a good fit for the CLR coils. 1.3 ohm so maybe better for power than TC. Ordered and waiting to see if they are any good. For $3.49 per hundred they are pretty much as cheap as wire.

Dimensions are 3.2 mm depth and 3.5 mm width so the id should be 2.6 mm. Should be a nice fit.
$3.49 E-XY 316L Stainless Steel Pre-coiled Coil (100-Pack) - 28 AWG / 0.32mm dia. / 1.3ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Hey Beams! Have you received those coils from FT yet? I'm about to place an order (10% off through tomorrow), so I'm wondering if I should add them to the cart.

Thanks!

Been wondering about this. I see it was posted 9/3. Guess being from FT Ya haven't gotten it yet?
So I got that ego one clone-y thing. The battery is a little longer than the OEM but the width is perfect and the button is better since you can actually see the light. I haven't used the tank yet, but it definitely takes CLRs. There is no adjustable airflow control ring so those big holes are all you get. It's very light so I think it's made of Al (not SS).

I'm thinking of getting a leather hole punch to put a nice hole in a vape band to use as an AFC ring.

Try this mark line on your tank where e-liquid is then do this fellows method .

Reason being your not only blowing out the bottom cap but forcing juice from tank through the coil head into base and out the airholes.
Try it. ; )

Not saying it does not work but not a fan of this method.
Never used the delta tanks but personally with the ego setup never had tank gurgle but had other tanks gurgle like old carto's etc.

Like i mention earlier and it is something that works for me is a small diameter hypo sucking out e-liquid from base just about each time or eavery couple of times i refill tank so it does not build up to point of leaking out eventually when tank may be tipped etc.

Ideally you want to keep juice from ever getting into the sump. It only took two episodes of very sticky palms from juice flowing out the airflow slots and I knew my wicking needed to change. I figured that juice must be seeping through the wick slots of the coil. I tried screwing the bottom ring up a few turns which helps but I still was not happy. I then went to a coil with an interior diameter of 2.8mm and stuffed it full of rayon along with cranking up the bottom juice ring a turn or two. In the past 8 months, I have not had one tank leak so bad it spewed from the air passages. I rewick about every ten days or so and I do pull the coil and run a Q-tip in the sump. The Q-tip does come back slightly wet but not enough in there to ruin your day. YMMV

How someone could run these coil after removing the bottom juice ring is way beyond me--
