Hey fellow vapers hopefully somebody can help me out with this. My mates got a rba but he doesnt own a vv yet with short circuit protection. Is it possible he can use them safely on a genuine joyetech ego t battery without the risk of breaking the battery. I think i read somewhere that they have short circuit protection and if they do and you get a short how does the ego battery react to this (flashing light, doesnt fire etc) thanks alot for your help

Moved to ego type devices, you might get more help here. You can short out an ego battery. In fact some of the clearos/tanks have been known to do that. Just from the few posts I've read about this happening, the battery stopped working. That's not to say ego batteries can't catch on fire.

I agree with eagarcia. An ohm reader or multimeter is almost a must for all vapers and you can get one almost anywhere pretty cheap.
