eGo questions

Just started vaping about a month ago, and am ready to move from the njoy to an eGo type. Here are some questions:

1. I've noticed different brands, such as Joye, Riva, and some others. Is there any reason to choose one brand over the other, except for price?

2. Are all 510 cartomizer threads the same, and will they work on all brands of the eGo?

Wrt the attys yes all 510s are the same and will fit the eGo. From a purely personal perspective, I prefer the eGo or Tornado manufactured by JoyE with th edge gouing towards the eGo. The Riva is not manufactured by JoyE.

I would also suggest in addition to what switched said that you maybe look at a MegaEgo .....my husband and I got eGos and the 650mah batteries were great!! And we were happy as clams with them.....then we got the megas which are 900 mah and are even happier as one of those can last us ALLLLL day long......even on a 12 hour car ride where plugs and stuff are limited LOL
So I love my eGo but Mega is.......well MEGA and makes it just that much better and if ur just starting out might as well get the REALLy good stuff LOL

I have both and I love them both. I started with the Riva and those batts will last me at least 8-10 hours of heavy vaping and still won't be run dead. I also have an eGo Mega. That thing will last me from the time I wake up until I go to bed and still not be dead! They're both awesome!

I also started out on the Njoy found it so so and i didn't keep me off the analogs, eventually ended up on a Joye eGo, this is like chalk and cheese. Never tried the Riva but by the sounds of things there is nothing wrong with them, which ever way you go its a step in the right direction.

Even though the eGo and Riva are about the same I prefer the Riva. I like the gold color of my Riva--lol, it just makes me love it more. The batteries in my eGo never last as long as my Riva and I like the button more. After awhile the button on my Ego starts to bother my index finger or thumb depending on what I one I'm using for vaping.

All 510 stuff should work togeter as far as batteries and atty fittings. You can use a 510 atty/carts/carto's on the ego, riva, and the 900 mah battery. The ego cones will fit the ego and 900mah battery, but most likely not the riva. I believe the ego charger will work on all three, but DO NOT use it on a 510 regular battery. The ego mega atty's wil work on all three and on the 510 battery and on 510 pt's. So there is a lot of mix/match in equipment.

The options are all about preference. The Riva has a rubber button that lights blue, and more of a plastic finish. The eGo has a softer matte finish and lights white with a plastic button. Personally I have both and prefer the look of the eGo, but the Riva is well worth the price if you are on a budget.
