ego questions

Hi all, I just have a couple or so questions as I should have my new ego arriving today or tomorrow and with all of the multitude of options and the learning the new lingo.... well it can overload a noob's brain.

1) Does the ego starter kit batteries come with ANY charge or do you need to fully charge before vaping?
2) If a person wanted to go with a cartomizer I understand any 510 carts will work, yes? But, do I need to get a different cone or do I need an adapter?

[EDIT] I guess I just answered Q #1 - Mailman just got here and after reading the instructions I hooked it up and it's ready-made to start vaping. Put the other battery on the charger and it went from red to green in about 5 minutes, green signifying fully charged. Thanks cignot!

Hi scapegoat! Welcome to the mad world of vaping! My eGo came with batt at least partially charged, so I vaped immediately while my other batt was fully charging: the first one didnt die before I went to bed but when the one on the charger was done, i just popped the one I had been using on the charger. No problem!

You can use a 510 carto just fine, but on SOME cartos (510s) made by some manufacturers, the cone may be a lil bit tight. I have not had the problem, but If i did I would probably leave the cone off. I am sure others will chime in with a correct answer for u.

it's good to hear that you're enjoying the eGo! i loved that the batts already came charged because i couldn't wait to try it out.

yes, 510 cartos (as well as any 510 atty) will work on the eGo so no need to get an adapter or different cone. the fitting the cone over the cartos i had were a bit snug, but it still fit just fine.
