Ego-T 1000mAh Battery Chargers

Really it's best to use the specific USB charger provided in the kit. What problems have you been having?

it seems to have broken after 3 weeks of use Papa.... so I was curious if there were more reliable chargers available.

I'd just use one of these - [Joyetech]Joye eGo/eGo T Mega Powered USB Charger with Logo [Joyetech] - $5.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail-- Been using one for about 8 months and still going fine. I'd say the joyetech stuff is usually decent quality, while copies can be variable. Be careful not to tighten the battery onto the charger too much. It just needs to be finger tight. That is I think a common cause of problems.

You can use more or less any "510" type charger, but most of them are very slow with eGo batteries. A standard 510 charger will take many hours to charge a 1000 mah battery, as it's charging rate is only 100ma (so theoretical 10 hours to fully charge a battery). The eGo charger has a much higher charge rate but shouldn't be used on the smaller 510 batteries.

Kami same happed to us few months back as we have several small ego chargers , i opened it and one of the solder joints came undone.
Was an easy fix but it could be anything if there are no lose wires undone. . Soldering is not for everyone.
