The only cons I found out about Ego-T is.....

if you wish to change flavour, you need to wash off the balance liquid inside the atomizer tank, dry it, and refill with new flavour. That will be sure the old flavour won't be mix up with your new flavour.

washing is very simple, just wash the atomizer with tap water, blow out the waters inside the atomizer tank, then dry it.
Trouble is, you only can wash it at places have tap water.

If you only have 2 favourite flavours, it's better to have 2 tank atomizers, each always re-fill with one same flavour.

May i ask an interesting question....

I wonder why sooooo many ego users interested to change use Ego-T??? what are they expecting??

My 1st ego is ego-T. Thus, I can't tell the difference between it and older ego / vgo / kgo / tgo etc......

Is it ego users don't like the normal / type A / type B carts, carto, and clearomizers?

I ask this because i see that the ego-T needs some time to fix up the design flaws.

I'm currently still dripping directly into my ego tank atomizer to vap, problem is.....can't drip too much, it leaks, drip too little, it dries up quick after few puffs. Less than 10 drops is just ok. However, every puff is FANTASTIC!!!

Despite this problem, I still prefer the ego-T and given up my pen style and 510 e-cigs.
The taste & vapour is sooooo much better even using the same liquid for my other e-cigs.
Ego is the sports car in e-cigarette technology! liquid hungry and powerful vap!
I don't have to carry few batteries along, the ego battery can last at least 2 days for me.
But require to carry a few a atomizers for different daily "must vap" flavours.

Best regards

Alvin, are you experiencing leaks between the battery and atty connection? I read on some threads that this is a problem with certain batteries as I'm sure you know there are so many types available out there.

I picked up 2 Ego-T kits recently....one from Heaven Gifts (China) and one from FreedomsmokeUSA. I have not had a problem with leakage at all. If I cap the mouthpiece, I can even chuck the Ego-T in my backpack where it's rolling around with my pens, keys, coins, etc....no leaks at all.

Vikings, are you using Joye Ego-T? that's 650mah. which version is that? v2?

Ours is 1000mah and 1300mah, it's different manufacturer, not Joye.

I'm sure they will fix it in March, no one wants to "eat the left behind foods".

If I may put in my 2 cents regarding the Ego-T ori as opposed to clones.....

As a person who has worked with several manufacturers in the past, plus my experience so far with e-cigs....and having viewed and used both Joye Egos and Ego-Ts, and the clones...

I find that the Ego & Ego-T clones tend to be imperfect copies of the Joye Ego systems. A slight bit of fit and finish differences, sometimes in the fractions of a millimeter, will in the end cause cartridges like the Ego-T to leak, or a cartomizer can't work coz it can't connect properly to the battery contacts. From my experience, copies often have design tolerances that are much more lax compared to the original items. Furthermore, it is quite common for China factories to buy imperfect or old molds which are used to make the products. Add in a bit of savings here and there by reducing cost of production and material, and you will find that clones or copies tend to be very different compared to the original, even if it's just a couple of pieces of plastic and metal.

Granted, there are some clones, although imperfect, are good value for money and do maintain a high level of quality and performance. These are the ones that come from good factories that copy and sell cheaper than Joye products, with only a small or hardly any sacrifice in terms of quality and performance.

That's my 2 cents.

branded clones (eg, ECIS, BOGE, etc) are wiser choice, it's cheaper & good quality, e-cigarettes just upgrades tooooo quick.

example, Joye launch ego-t 650mah in Jan 2011, the clones immediately launch ego-t 1000mah (the samples we had), now some suppliers also has ego-t 1300mah clones.

However, i have asked around but not yet seen any branded clones launched yet.

Does anyone came accross a thread stating actually joye is Janty oem maker? Which mean Janty design the ego t and joye market out to test market? And that is why Janty stated alot that they actually perfect them.

Part True, i came across another thread and it stated that Janty Design which mean it allow Joye to Market first to test market.
Janty VS Joye Stick : General E-Smoking Talk

Joye is Janty's supplier. its a matter of who wants to continue to support great products which is original and perform better or get the knock off and try to push for it here by imposting as a member.

The Joye Ego-T atomizers has arrived, interested can meet me to test whether it works with your ego battery (non-joye) before buying.

It should work with original Joye Ego batteries.

Thanks

Loving this since getting it from Alvin yesterday. Better performance compared to standard atomizers, a bit less compared to LR atomizers or cartomizers. But....you can't beat the performance given the ease of use. Doesn't leak at all. I give it 2 thumbs up. Now I understand what all the people are talking about internationally about the EGO-T atomizer and tank.

Changing to another flavor on the same atomizer is sometimes a pain, especially when you're changing from a strong tobacco flavor to a mild fruity one. The tobacco stays for quite a while before going away for good. Let's not talk about menthol, coz everyone knows it's almost impossible to get rid of it short of a deep cleaning.

if you surf back my previous thread, i have mentioned about changing flavours on tank attys requires water cleaning, just wash with normal tap water, then blow out the waters inside the atty and refill with new flavour. for daily must vap flavours, will best to be, 1 atty for tobacco only flavours eg cigarcherry, tobacco delux,.... 1 atty for fruit only flavours eg orange, strawbery,..... 1 atty for alcohol flavours eg fruit punch, red wine, champagne, .... ....etc with few atomizer + cartridge prefill with liquid, it's easy to switch flavours anywhere such as shopping, driving, etc ;)
