Hi everyone, I just started vaping 2 weeks ago and purchased the ego-t from cignot.com. Everything was going good until my atomizer started acting up, by this i mean it got harder to draw and vape. I did some reading on ecig forum and wanted to let you guys know the result. The answer is cleaning your atomizer in "blue crest mouthwash", I am not BSing, there is a thread in atomizer problems and suggests that you clean in crest mouthwash. So i decided to follow his steps on how to clean the atty, and it turns out it actually works, I cleaned it last night and vaping today. The only thing his instructions dont tell you is how to prime the atty after it is dry and how long the drying process is.

That is what i want to share with you, once you clean it, let it dry overnight, and to prime it you will go through one cart. I suggest when you start to prime it, you insert the cart in to the atty, dont connect it to the battery and let it sit for 1 hour, then after 1 hour, just take some test vapes without the battery. after you do that, attach the battery and start vaping the ego-t like a cigar, dont inhale, you will taste mouthwash with whatever eliquid you are using. you will have to vape the whole cart before you can use it like a cig, trust me i know. after that you should be good to go, oh and the throat hit is much better after mouthwash cleaning.

P.S. If you make your own liquid, i suggest leave out the nicotine in the first cart, u will waste the first cart, just mix vg and distilled water or vg, water and a few drops of vodka. Vodka is like rubbing alcohol for your atty, everytime you vape, u will clean the atty. If you don't believe me search through the forums.

yes, i tried alcohol, but didnt see that much of a difference, also i think my problem may have started with using the liquid that i bought form cignot, their liquid which is vg based, is quite thick, the liquid i make consists of vg base, with pg nic juice and few drops of vodka (absolute) and flavoring that i bought from walmart. The liquid i make is quite thinner compared to theirs.

Thanks for the info. I am trying to figure out the least expensive solvent to clear the tiny air passage holes in the skirted type atomizers, the T atty and the eGo mega attys, etc. So far I have found nothing that works, maybe it's time to try your method.

In the std 510 atty the air passages can be reached with a needle type device but on the skirted types you can't even see the holes.

Try filling the atty with very warm water or vodka and cover the center battery connection hole with your finger and blow into the mouth side. It should force any crap out of the side holes. It usually works for me.

I use cozz's method for cleaning my atties. I just make sure to let it dry over night (for 510s) or for 24 hours for my T atty. To prime my atties I just drip right onto the atomizer and wait a few minutes and it's good to go. If it's REALLY gunked up, try dropping it in vinegar, and do the same thing in cozz's vid with the vinegar. After all, folks use vinegar to clean their coffee makers. You'd be amazed at all the gunk you get out with a vinegar bath, followed by an alcohol rinse.

SaturnineDenial, i dont think it matters, as long as it is blue in color, i used the pro-health.

popeye79, if you watch the video, the gentleman clearly states you have to let the atty dry 48 hrs, I only have one atty, i dont mind waiting overnight for the atty to dry, but 48 hours, you got to be kidding me. as far as the juice being wasted, go to walmart, pick up some vegetable glycerin (in the health area by the lotions) $3, go to the pharmacy ask for some empty medicine bottles (free) and a few plastic syringes (free), grab a bottle of distilled water and make some started juice to prime your atty.

To make 10ml of juice, take 6ml of vg, and 4ml of water - use this to prime your atty after the mouthwash.

Also if you want to learn on how to make your own juice, go to youtube, search for vapingmonkey, he explains on how to do it, i am a newbe to e-cigs and make my own juice, that way you can control how much nicotine you want, make your own flavors, (flavors can be found at walmart, go to the spices aisle and look for extracts).

Buy your nicotine juice at myfreedomsmokes.com
