I read that the eGo-T atomizer uses a tank cartridge that self-feeds the atomizer. I currently use the XL atomizer/carts (that holds 2ml of liquid). However, this tank cartridge thing is intriguing. Can someone provide more info for me? Does it leak easily? Do you have to refill it as often as regular cartridges? I don't want something that leaks, but I want something I don't have to top off as often, but will still last a good while before refilling. Is it hard to fill? Do I need a syringe? Etc., etc... I just need more info - as much info as possible before I can consider purchasing this!

Well, it's an atomizer and tank. The tank is just a hollow plastic mouthpiece. There are 2 styles now. The A holds 1.5 ml of juice. I don't remember what the B holds maybe 2.5 ml. Either way, you shouldn't have to top off much. I have an A. I'm not crazy about it. It's okay though. It tends to mute the flavor and throat hit IMO. The LR version of the atomizer helps with that. I didn't have a lot of trouble with leaks though I've seen a lot of complaints about that. A lot of people really love the eGo-Ts.

To me, the biggest source of potential problems is the wick in the atomizer. It's placement is critical and there's not a lot holding it in place. I think that's the source of a lot of the leaking issues. When they first came out, there where problems with them having the wick out of place new. I"m pretty sure the manufacturer made an adjustment to fix that. It's not that hard to fix these problems but, if you get one, you might want to figure out how.

Noe here come the posts to tell you how wrong I am. :)

I like the tank atty in the type A or type B design. As it is now, you have to do some maintenance on both periodically to keep them at peak. If you don't like fiddling with atomizers, you'll have to open a new every 3 weeks or so.

Cleaning only takes a few minutes and restores like new performance. The key is to use a toothpick to scrape the coil during the final dry burn after cleaning. Do that and clean the wick, set the height and it works well.
