Not sure if this is the right place to post.. >.<;;

I've had an Ego-T for a month now and the atomizers bother me. I have LR Ego-T Type A tank atomizers and I have found them to be terrible. The hits I get are really inconsistent, they leak a lot, and the life on them seem to be a week. I blow them out every night to get the gunk out and let them wick for 15-30 minutes before using them. Every time (I've already used four atomizers...), I've gotten a burning taste that I can't seem to get rid of, WAY reduced vapor production in about three days, and sometimes I get a burning feeling in the back of my throat when I use them. Am I doing something wrong? Help me please before I go back to the simplicity of analogs (until my friend pays me back and I can afford a Provari)!:(

Well ... I have an Ego but not a tank however, some of the issues you described are similar to those I had at first with my standard Ego atties. First, it took about a month to break them in because I initially found the vapor production to be disappointing, the primer taste was hideous and yes it was all to easy to get that burnt feeling in the back of my throat.

Since being broken in the vapor production has much improved, the primer taste is gone, but I still get the burnt feeling from time to time if I don't re-drip soon enough. I find that I must drip more frequently with the Ego, than I do the 510.

You say that you have gone through 4 within one month, so perhaps the issue that you haven't give ea atty enough time to break in?? .... or maybe you just got a few defective atties, which is also possible. Hope someone with a Tank chimes in with more insight or advice :)

Sometimes the wicks need to be adjusted. If you go on youtube, you can find some tutorials that may help.

I have an ego T type B and i hate the atties and tank that come with it. Loved it at first but then always seemed to have no flavor, really tight draw, very inconsistent. I have gone to using either a 306 atty on it when i want to drip (which to me is the best flavor), and resurrectors are also great. They hold quite a bit of juice and are way better than the atties with the Ego system.

My first PV was the eGo-T which I bought maybe three weeks ago. I had a few decent attys and the rest gave me nothing but trouble. The LR atomizers were even worse. I didn't have any leaks, but I would get bad flavor, poor wicking, and they would get gunked up so fast even using clear 100% PG juice. The eGo-T is pretty good (when it works) but it can't hold a candle to most of the mods. The flavor is muted, you don't get as much vapor, and the atomizers are really finicky.

The idea of the eGo-T is great, they just need to go back to the drawing board on the atomizers. Needless to say I've switched an purchased two mods and will never look back.

I'd say don't even waste any more time/money with the eGo-T and just upgrade to a better and easier PV. I would recommend something like a Silver Bullet with cartomizers and some sort of tank system on it or a bottom-feeder mod (see my signature image for examples). You will never look back!

Sorry to hate on the eGo-T so much . . . it is a decent PV, I just had the same troubles as you and got pretty tired of it really fast.
