Have you pulled the wick plate out? I dropped mine the other day and it landed perfectly on the endcap of the battery. I picked it up and hit it, it felt like I was sucking through a clogged whistle. I took it apart to realize the wick had been mashed down tight against the coil during the impact. I adjusted the wick and its back to normal.

I don't really have any advise on the atty, but I feel your pain with these. I got my ego t about a month ago, and I really love it. Except that I have already burnt the first 2 attys. I have tried everything to clean them and the taste just gets worse. I am hoping this was due to rookie mistakes and future attys will last longer. I am using some cartos now but really hate the constant refilling. I have had no issues with leaky tanks like a lot of people report. I got a new atty today and will see how it goes. For ease of use, I much prefer the tank/atty combo. But if I can't get more life out of them than a carto, it may be constant topping off on the cartos for me too.

I have not looked at the wick. I'll have to do some searching and find something about wick adjustment. All the reading about the T, I did before I got mine, and it didn't make much sense without seeing one in person.

Thanks for the suggestions, hopefully I can find the problem.

To adjust the wick take out the needle plate, a thin screwdriver works really well, take a safety pin and push the little tin mesh cap upwards towards the needle side until the cap is just below the bevel of the needle. Once you do that re-install give it a sec to wick and if your draw is still tight check the seals. Also inside the tank there are two small plastic caps at the tip you can take them out. I perfer taking out the bottom one and leaving the top one in. The vapor production after that is pretty good and the draw is not as tight after those simple mods.

You tube has some good vids on how to adjust the wick.

I use an eGo-T and buy ONLY the LR atty for it. It makes a world of difference in the draw. However, even the LR will clog after two or three weeks, so you either try to clean it or toss it. I think a disposable item that costs $10 is a little much, but it is what it is and the eGo-T kept me off the cigarettes, so...I put up with it.

Cignot has good prices on the LR eGo-T atty if you're interested in trying them. Once you try the LR atty, you will NEVER go back to the SR. The LR atty is $10. Here's a link to the Cignot item:

Forgot to mention, sorry. The atty is almost brand new, it came this way.. I've had it for a bit over a week, but barely used it, since my other new egoT atty is much easier to use.

I tried backing it off a bit, and no luck. :(

There are 2 air/vapor somewhat flat passages on each side of the tank & atty. Align them for lightest draw.

Tried aligning the airways, no luck there either. Pulled it apart to clean it, and my wick fell apart. Like the little strands broke in half when I touched them with my fingernail (on both attys!! WT...!!!) . So, no ego T for me for now. I have ordered new wick material, and am back to my regular ego attys for now. :(

Is there anyway to fix it? Or am I just stuck with it being cruddy until the atty eventually dies? I've tried switching the tank, but no luck, it's just the atty that's hard.

By hard, I mean REALLY hard, not just in comparison with my other attys.

EGO-T's do have a tendency to have a tighter draw compared to something like a Boge cartomizer. But, if it's a REALLY hard draw then it might be due to two possible issues. Your coil and wick is gunked up with juice OR the wick is to high up which is blocking some airflow. Here's a video on how to adjust the wick:

And here's a video on how to clean the ego-t. You do need to buy a hemostat which will make it easier to pull out the piercing plate:

If the wick is completely gunked up then this is how I clean it:

1. Hold it in the Hemostat.
2. Take a lighter and touch the wick with your flame. It will catch on fire and you can immediately blow it out. Don't worry since it's a silica wick and highly heat resistant. So, it won't be harmed in this process.
3. Repeat step #2 until the wick is "white".
4. Your done.
