Ego-t battery danger!!!

Hi, just wanted to post this because i am worried about my tornado t battery! its the standard 650-Mah, but i had it on top of a speaker today and it vibrated its way off and fell on to the concrete floor from approx 6 foot high! the silver part of the battery wich encases the button has gone wobbly and come out of the battery, as far as i know everything is still connected so i just shoved it back in the top of the batt! but now i am afraid to use or charge it incase it blows! is this something i should worry about and just buy a new battery, or is it still safe to use!

Any info on this, or anyone with this problem in the past please let me know!

...with nothing connected to it, push the buttom and see if it lights up...if so, connect an atty or carto and see if it works...pay attention if it should start getting hot...the button section and the bottom are both just press fitted.........

yes there were wires connected to the metal and the switch that came out, i have just shoved it back in and it seems to be working, just wanted to know if this could compromise the battery in any way or make it unstable at all! i have seen what can happen when batts discharge or blow and i realy dont want that!

No one can tell you your battery is fine on the internet without looking at it. If you are worried about it toss it.

It'll be fine. Had the same thing happen to one of mine as well. Just don't fiddle with it n be gentle with it. In other words don't try tightening the fit with tape glue etc. You'll do more harm than good...

If the battery were to "blow" which end is going to come apart first?
The bottom end of the eGo is a thin metal disk that will blow out first. Unless the switch end has been damaged and is loose.

A 650mah eGo batt is what, about $15?

You have a safety-compromised eGo battery.
