Just got my eGo -T(B) 900 mah kit today and had a question. As I was charging the battery, I figured I'd read the instructions(not something I've been known to do very often). Everything looks great, but the instructions said the kit had a 650mah battery(s). I've looked all over both batts and can't find any mah designation anywhere. Is there a way to tell what my battery size is? This was from a very reputable ECF supplier and I figured they just put 2 900's in the 650 kit, but I want to be sure.

Hmm, my 900's are 2.5", so I guess they are 900's. Sorry bout the silly questions. New to this whole thing and know next to nothing. Thanks for the reply!
There is no silly questions here on the ECF, Nice folks will answer your questions, thats the way we all learn, is to ask questions. Keep them coming if you wonder about anything else. Glad you found us.

How do you like the eGo-T? That was my first PV, one that I try to direct new members toward, despite the knee-jerk reaction that a lot of people have toward it.

Also, the difference between an eGo battery and an eGo-T battery is that the T batt has a 5-press lock/unlock feature on it. I found that lockability was amazing when I was learning to use it (and stashing it in my pocket at work).

I like it alot, so far. I should have ordered more tips, though. I ordered a bunch of varieties of juice, and I've only got 5 tank tips. I've been hearing about dripping to taste, but I don't see how that's possible with the set up I have. I've got some ressurectors coming, but dripping still escapes me. The different flavors are amazing! Some very good, some I'd like to erase from my memory, some I cant wait to taste.

Hehehe we all have some flavors we would like to erase from our memory. eJohnny you can reuse those tanks, just be easy when pulling off the cap and you can wash them out and reuse. On your dripping, I just tried it on a tank atty and it worked. Remove your tank out of your atty drip 5 drops of eliquid on the atomizer you have two options one place your mouth around the end and inhale or two take the cap off one of your empty tanks and then set it in (tank no cap no liquid in it) and then inhale. You will notice the taste difference. Keep in mind dont let it get dry or you can damage your atomizer. This will give you a taste of what dripping is like when you hear people mention flavor. keep on vaping~~~ You should get several good vapes before you will taste a dry/burning taste which means add more drops .. enjoy! be proud you made the first step in leaving analogs behind.

Been using an eGo-T as my first big-boy pv for about a month, after gas station models. I share your annoyance that direct dripping is tedious and you have to wait a day or so (depending on how much you vape) to try a new flavor. I am planning on walking into Freedom Smoke USA (live in Tucson) and asking for an addy and drip tip to use with my battery to deal with this.

Tank system day to day, direct trip atty for trying out new flavors.

I've been using my Ego T kit for just over a couple of weeks now and am loving it! I've gone the whole route starting with my first one (a penstyle that was, up until now, the BEST ecig of them all), a 401, a 510, a KR808 ... just couldn't get past all the fuss with refilling carts and cartomizers. In fact, I gave up on ecigs altogether for a couple of years because of that. I don't know if I'm just a born klutz with these things but I could never refill and get a proper job done. However, in the back of my mind, I wanted to get back to ecigs again. Way too many good things about them! Decided to do some looking around to see what had changed in the ecig world and decided that, surely to God, even I could refill a damn tank! I have to say that, for me, this is the only ecig out there! I have had no problems with the baby except the ones I brought on myself. Like when I decided that it was time to learn how to clean an atomizer. How hard could it be? There were so many great suggestions and some of them sounded so easy! Well ... you guessed it. I killed my almost brand new atty! Lesson learned ... some thing have NOT changed in two years. But I am loving this thing!!

I have a question though if anyone can answer. I have two 650 mah passthrough batteries and I am noticing that it is taking long to charge them and they don't seem to hold the charge as well as they did brand new. Do the regular batteries hold up better? Has anyone else noticed this on the passthroughs? Am thinking of treating myself to one of those 1000 mah ones soon ...

Oh no, you're already buying Cartomizers? You're doomed.

I used my eGo-T for a solid 3 months before I bought a couple cartos to see what they were all about...and a couple pretty colored drip tips. Never went back. Of course it helps that I have a shiny 3.7v mod now. I use 510 attys on my eGo batteries for flavor testing, since I don't like wasting cartos on flavors I don't care for.

I went from a 510 manual to an ego passthrough to an 1100mah ego-t. by far i love my ego-t the best, i have a lr 510 ce3 cart on it and get clouds of vapor using kamol/camel juice and menthol from various sites. and my next step is a VV ego hopefully i like that with a HV carto. and just a side note, never drop your passthrough, i dropped mine straight down on the usb end and it broke the soldering from the neg side of the bat to the pcb on the switch. boy was i glad to still have my 510 backup model. but all in all the ego-t is my fav so far. i have noticed that putting my fav carto on my 510 for a few hrs of vaping will make my ego burn it hotter most times. not sure why im sure an electrical engineer could answer. hope this was useful

Couple things... Cleaning the eGo-T attys is pretty straight forward. If you have any vodka laying around (proof doesn't really matter) take a little dish or a cup and put two or three attys in it, cover them with vodka and let it soak for half an hour or so, stir it a bit so that the vodka moves around and saturates.

Once that's done, dump the vodka (for the love of god, don't drink it) and refill with as hot of tap water as you can get. Soak again, probably another half hour or so. Once that's done, take them to your tap and run hot water through them (Don't need to burn yourself with it, it's mostly to make sure that the residuals of the vodka and flavor is out).

Next! Hold it up to the faucet and put some water in the end the tank goes in, bring it up to your mouth and blow the water through the atty. Do this four or five times, you shouldn't be able to smell any of the flavor mixture in there anymore, if you do, you can keep rinsing it with the blow-through method. It will eventually clean out.

The most important part is that you'll need to blow all the water you can out, and then set it in a box somewhere so that it can air out and dry a bit. Usually a day is long enough...I've run them after doing this immediately, but it's a bit rough on them.

Anyhow, next question. The batteries do eventually get old. Do you have the Smoktech, or Joyetech model? (The Joye eGo has a hard plastic button, the Smoktech one has a soft plastic button) The Joye is a bit stronger built, from what I understand. What you see me writing about my experiences is with a Joye eGo. My passthru is sitting in my equipment box in a retired-fashion. :)

Mr Kinslayer,

You may want to consider purchasing a true 3.7v mod before you head into HV-zone. That way you'll have something to look forward to. :)

When I say a true 3.7v, I'm talking about some sort of box-mod, or one of the fancy shiny tube-mods that people sell that uses a replaceable battery. I use a 14500 mod, Altsmoke's Alpha. The reason I suggest this is that the eGo runs at around 3.2volts, and the batteries can be a bit touchy because of the way that they are wired. Even taking it up half a volt, I can tell you that there is a huge difference. :)
