Has anyone else had a battery separate from the adapter section. One reason i got the eGo-T was that it has the ability to be powered off. I keep it in my pocket (jeans) while at work and the other day i went to pull it out and it had pulled apart. The wires weren't broken or disconnected so i just pushed the battery back into the switch section. It seems to be working fine but i was bending over or crawling around on the floor that day. I have fiddled with it since then and it feels stable but i would like to know if this is common?

The Ego-T is fairly tough, but no PV is designed to take a lot of bending or pressure in the switch area. I suggest that you get a lanyard so that you can hang it around your neck - an area not so common for extreme bending or pressure. I have a leather lanyard that I really like to use when I go out - very handy. The PV hangs loose under my shirt and doesn't bother me a bit. It's also out of sight until I decide to use it. The leather surrounding the PV also provides some extra protection. What I bought was $14 and worth every cent.

I am a computer geek and typically sit at a desk 80% of the day. Most of the time i take it out of my pocket before sitting down sometimes right after. I mis-typed the original message i meant to say i wasn't crawling around on the floor. Just the old sit down stand up sit down of a normal persons day. I definitely don't wear tight jeans so it isn't being compressed constantly. I figure that it was an issue of repetitive little bits of pressure and it worked its way apart over time. I ended up getting an ego carrying case to hold the stuff inside the shell and it reminds me to pull it out of the pocket before i sit down. Thanks though, i'll probably be looking at lanyards in the near future.
