Hello peeps. I just got my EGO-T starter kit yesterday and I can say I'm highly impressed. Hopefully I'll be off of the analog cigs in a day or 2.

One thing I'm curious about is the cleaning method for the atty. What's the best way to clean it and not have to dry it for 24 hours?? is there a fast drying method? Best to use alcohol/warm water??

Thanks

I clean mine less and less now, I started with a whole process cleaning them, rubbing alcohol, 2 day drying routine. ( although pot holder glove and a hairdryer on high will get it pretty dry pretty fast )

I don’t any more though... I blow them out every couple of days... and I only clean one thoroughly with alcohol when there is a specific issue ( has happened once now in a month ) still using the original attys that came with my kit.

I do clean the tanks in a cup of hot water after re-filling them about 5 times, take all the parts out ( and I don’t put that second spacer deeper in the mouthpiece end back inside, draw better without that second spacer.

I just use HOT tap water, fill the tank end of the atomizer, blow it through, and repeat 10x. I cover the hole in the threaded connector with my pinky for a couple of those, to clean out the little hole in the side of the connector. Then I soak in PGA for an hour or longer, blow it out thoroughly, and use it almost immediately.

I would not use IPA in the same way, I'd let it dry well first.

I'm the same as the others. Not much maintenance required for mine. Still using the original atty's from my starter kit. That may have a lot to do with the fact that I use just VG, Nic and H20. Using other liquids does seem to clog it faster.

I'm attempting to clean one that was giving off very little vapor after using it for 2-3 tanks of cappuccino flavor liquid. If I held the button for a second before drawing it helped but the vapor was still insufficient. I soaked it in GG Vodka overnight occasionally swirling it and gently blowing some liquid from the battery side to the tip side of the atty, then rinsed with hot water blowing out excess liquid gently. I then connected a battery and cooked it for 2 sec, 5 secs, 5 secs, 5 secs with about a minute in between (trying to cook the coil). Quick rinse in same vodka and a couple blow throughs to get off any crusty residue from cooking, followed by a hot water rinse and gentle blow out. It is currently drying. I plan to dry it overnight or longer.

For the first use I'll put in a full tank and pull 4 times hard to get the liquid into the atty before firing.

I'll let you know in a few days if I ruined it!!!!

Stick to the clear liquid or buy a few spare attys if you use dark fluids, either way its still cheaper than smoking.

I have used various methods once my tanks have been cleaned and cleaned and cleaned to the point I cant get the back to normal. For first clean and use do yourself a favor and just stick with hot water

The rest of the video has some good info fro first time users too. But IMO if it and broke dont clean it, I have found these attys to be very temperamental and again IMO boiling water bath and 24hr air dry is the best method for a good atty. If you start having problems even after this method, then feel free to take a look around and see what you can find.

I know this was the easiest system to get me off analogs, I needed something that was as easy an lighting a cig, that could be ready at a moments notice. Drop those analogs and enjoy your tank
