why do you say it will look awkward? and what's the cause of the airflow problem?
The Riva 510 has a larger diameter battery than the standard Joye 510. It is rated at 750mah and should do fine. The Riva 510 is an Ego look alike.

the 750mAh is a claim of suppliers / manufaturers,
if i remember right there is no difference on the internal battery to an eGo.

Scottbee has done a great favor for the Ecig community here with his analysis and testing. The 510 series, including the Ego are all regulated to 3.2vdc by the internal circuitry. The 3.7vdc reading we get unloaded change quickly when you introduce the resistance load of the atty to the batt.
I'm now looking at the KR808 battery as a substitute for my Ego batteries next time I have to order batteries. With the 3.7v output to an atty vs the 3.2v range an Ego produces the KR looks like a better vape. Now, I have to research charging. Anyone know if the KR808 with the 510 adapter will charge correctly from the standard Ego charger, or will it cut off early or even work?
I have four Riva 510 batteries in my personal stock and can tell you that all four of them work with three tanks that I have at present. The form, fit and function is identical to my Joye ego batteries that I have too. I hope that helps your search for compatability of the two.

If you followed my thread (Battery Voltages) you would see toward the end that we have discovered some "Riva" batteries that really do put out 3.7V without PWM regulation. I am currently using them, as is my buddy Kent C. They do make a difference with the "T" atty.... and of course the charge life will exceed anything that you'll probably get from the KR808D-1 line.
excellent news. i'll purchase some ego-T atties and tanks right away. the B.F.D. cart mod has been working perfectly, but it sure would be nice to fit a full 1.5 ml... that would last me all day. anyone have a suggestion for a particular supplier?

question, though... looking at the ego-T atty, it appears to be cone shaped and therefore the cone-shaped cover that goes over the normal 510 atty wouldn't be necessary. so, since the Riva battery has the two threadings, one for the atty and one for the cone, my question is: does the ego-T atty screw into the threads for the atty, the cone, or both?

gotcha... so then am i to assume that the cone atty covers the threads for the cone on the Riva batt, or are those left exposed? sorry if these questions are dumb, i just haven't been able to get a clear look at the underside of the ego-T atty.
The only problem I've had is one I got from cignot. It will work on my Ego but not on my Riva. It might be this specific atty. The one I got from wordupecig works with my Riva as does the one I got from Good Prophets.
I just got a new stainless RIVA/510 & the stainless Ego-T & tanks from Liberty flights & everything works & looks GREAT!!!!

I REALLY want a blue set from cignot tho ...would look cool w/blue carts,the stainless looks very slick with blue carts ....
