Ok I just got my eGo-T LR Dual Coil Atty today from NoSmokeVa.com and perhaps I'm completely missing something. I loaded it and puffed away and I can tell the vapor is warmer but beyond that there's nothing else I notice. The vapor amount is the same and so is the flavor (granted I'm only using menthol). Do I need to try something else to see the benefit of the $20 I just spent on this LR atty??

I am far from an expert but, thinking positive, that might be the issue. Normal Joye Ego batts run at around 3.2-3.4v. Of course, the design could be not so good or you might have gotten a bad one too (thinking negative).

Might you have any Ego knock off batteries around? Usually the knock offs run at around 4.2v fully charged. I would be extremely curious to find out what nosmokeva has to say about it, maybe try emailing them and see if they have an suggestions or offers of a remedy?

Also, bump to the thread :), so that someone else who has one could chime in.

The VV eGo kit I received from the co-op was advertised as a tank set with 2 tank attys & carts. Well, it arrived with no attys and 5 clearomizers.. :(

The VV eGo it's self is quite nice, and runs 3.2, 3.7, and 4.2V. I have a T atty and carts from a deal on the classies, which hopefully will be here today. :) I will post my results asap...

I received the T-Carts today, along with a 2.2 ohm Janty JETS T atty. In comparing the DC to Janty atty:

(Both 650mAh eGos run @ 3.7V, same 24mg 70/30 DIY mix)

I started with the Janty, and vaped an entire T-Cart. After a couple of primer hits, The vapor production is good. Throat-hit not there unless heavily drawn upon. I noticed the flavor to be muted, and hit a couple of dry, almost burnt-tasting periods despite seeing bubbles come up as they should to wick. I tried burping the T-cart once. Nothing to write home about IMO.

I moved on to vape an entire T-Cart with the DC atty.... IMMEDIATE great flavor.. :) I mean a very noticable difference between the Janty. Vapor production is at least 3 times better than the Janty. No dry spots, and wicking well.. The throat-hit is not knocking me back, but present, and good for me.

I will continue vaping these to see if the Janty / DC gets any better, or worse.. Then post back. So far I would reach for the DC T-Atty any day.. ;) :vapor:

Thanks Technonut for the research on this!

+1 really appreciate the research on this, Technonut!

No problem. I enjoy tinkering with mods & PVs.... :)

The Janty LR T-atty has broken-in after a few tanks run through it. @ 3.7V, it is now vaping nicely. The DC T-atty has also gotten better. :) I still prefer it over the Janty, especially the difference in flavor.

I also ran both attys @ 4.2V, and they performed as I expected.. The vape was warmer, the Janty, and DC lost some flavor, and both attys would start getting hot. The DC even vaped well @ 3.2V. The Janty did not. With the DC atty, it is nice using a VV eGo... :vapor: :)

Is this co-op still available? I'd sure like to try out a VV eGo-T.
