eGo T issues, thinking of buying a pack of smokes.

My ego T arrived in the mail last Friday and I've been loving it. then last night one of my batteries decided not to work. I can push the button and it will light up but nothing happens. I put it on the charger and the light is green indicating that it's all charged and ready to go. It still turns off and on just fine as well. So... I contacted the place I bought it from and they gave me the information to return it so it could be replaced. But just moments ago my other battery (that I was hoping would get me through until I return/replace the non-working one) just started to do the same thing. Is it something I am doing that is causing this?

I don't really have the money to buy expensive disposables to get me through until I can return these. :(
Any advice would be great.

Maybe the center post on you atty or carto is pushed in too far and not making contact with the eGo. Try prying the post out a little with a small screwdriver, piece of wire etc.

Agreed. I've had clearos that for some reason wouldnt work on one of my ego's but others worked fine. It seems your batteries aren't connecting to fire anything up.

A couple of times when I was at work, my batt's died and no charger so I stripped a USB cable down to red/black, plugged the positive in to the center hole of the clearo and the negative to the sidewall and taped them there. Then I just plugged/unplugged the cable in place of a switch and vaped. Not the most ideal solution, but it works until you get a new battery. Just be careful not to short anything or you could blow the port.

To all the haters - it's just a suggestion. I'm fully aware of the 500mah limits.

If you tighten them down too much, it'll move the center (positive) pin. It can move on the delivery system (clearo) or even in some weird instances on the battery itself (had this happen with my eGo-T PT). I've even had the charger pin get pushed in from over tightening.

If you look at the 510 connection on the bottom of the clearo, the positive post is in the inside/middle/center. This is the guy you'll want to wiggle down.

Hope this helps :)

trying right now. Maybe I'm not pushing it hard enough. I think over tightening might be the issue. If so it's on both of my clearo's not just one of them. This is the kit I have....

Hopefully easing that center pin up JUST A LITTLE! in the connector will help. I get that all the time. I use carto tanks and with some PVs I like to use an adapter. Sure enough...when I go to switch a cartotank from a device with an adapter on it to one without..I often have to pry something. In my case I just ease up the center pin on the carto. I keep a straight metal dental pick (a darning type needle will do) for the purpose. Usually that's all it takes.

You're welcome. It could also be the battery post was pushed down. In the meantime you have to "wiggle/ rock" and pry the pin to raise it.
Here's a vid on how to pull the battery post. When pulling anything be very gentle.

Thanks for the video, but I can't seem to get the center thing to budge on either clearo and I don't understand how both clearo's worked fine on one battery but not the other. And now neither clearo will work on either battery.

Try it on the batteries as well, just wiggle them up a bit. At some point the center posts will touch and you'l have vapor. We've all done this and searched for a solution and ended up wiggling our posts.

I just tried the batteries and maybe I'm being to gentle and not pulling the battery post out far enough? cause I got nothing.

Every time you screw on a clearo it puts pressure on the center pins of the battery and clearo. The pressure will cause one or both pins to move just enough that they no longer will make contact with each other. When prying these pins up you may notice they don't move much but usually it's enough to make contact again. In the future, only screw your new atty/carto/clearo down until it just makes contact.
