I've had my Ego-T for less than a week now and I'm not really happy with it. I want to love it, I love how easy it is to fill, I've had no leaking, no juice in my mouth and I love that I can just keep a couple of tanks in my pocket and I'm good to go. However I can't tell if the problem is with me or with my atomizers.

Atomizer #1 works just fine, however I seem to be getting almost no flavor from it. I just get a hint of flavor. I know that people have complained about muted flavors. Is it supposed to be this muted?

Atomizer #2 just tastes like burning! It's awful!

I've tried cleaning the atties, rotating the tank, taking puffs with the battery off, gently pushing down the wick and talking nicely to it. However I still get the same results from the two atomizers. Are there any other tips or tricks that I'm missing?

I've tried many different juices, FSUSA 50/50 blend, BWB (not sure what their blend is), Liberty Flights 100% PG. I've tried both light and dark colored juices. I don't know what else to do.

Help please!

I found that after getting the burned taste - which comes from taking too many long puffs in succession, vendor reccomends 6, long and slow draws and then rest for a minute - I flushed it many times with boiled evian and let dry ofr 8 hours. Filled up a new tanka nd then the 1st 1/4 vaped with the crappy taste still but the last half of the tank everything went back to normal.

I've had mine for a lot less time than you, but I already find that you do have to change your vaping habits somewhat where draw is concerned. I'm pretty gentle with my draw on the eGo-T, especially when compared to a 510 atty. I find if I take a "fast" drag the atty can't keep up with the draw. Also, I draw for at least a second after I let the button go in order to set up the next vape (I got this tip from another thread, and it works well).

I've had no probs drawing either 100% PG or my preference of PG-free (as Alien Visions likes to put it :)) through the eGo-T...although AV juices do tend to be on the thick side. If I start to experience a gunking issue I'm planning on taking AV's advice and adding a drop or two of distilled water to the mix, right in the tank itself...we'll see if that helps.

So far, with blowing between tanks, I've had no issues with flavor, save the blending of flavors at the onset of a new tank.

I only have one atty right now, but I have another on order which should be in shortly...I'll let you know if I experience consistent results with the other.

Hope you figure it out!

I notice the same "muted" flavor with my eGo-T, versus dripping, but it seems to be getting better over time. That, or I'm just getting used to the weaker flavor. For my own e-liquid, I've notched up the amount of flavor that I use, and it seems to help a bit - it overrides the "plastic" taste of the tank, at least.

I think that the eGo-T attys are kind of hit-and-miss, though - as compared to my 510s, I feel like I'm "babying" the eGo-T, but I managed to blow out my first atty within the first week - I got that burning taste and instead of cleaning it, I put it away for the night - the next morning, it didn't work at all.

Thankfully, Vicki at Cignot replaced it pretty quickly for me.

I was super hesitant to do this after reading about it, but I took a paper clip and straightened it out and poked the wick down in the spike hole just til you can feel it give, and also wiggled it around a bit to loosen the top of the wick. Very gentle. But it seems to have worked for me, getting more taste then before.
